Today we’d like to introduce you to Diamond Woods.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story began when I was a little girl. At just 8 years old, I was experiencing deep grief and emotional pain from witnessing my parents fighting all the time. I felt alone, frightened, and uncertain about the world around me. Somehow, even as a child, I intuitively knew how to call forth an ancestor for protection and guidance.
I created a letter for my deceased grandmother, whom I had never met in this lifetime, yet I felt deeply guided to reach for her spirit. I distinctly remember sitting at the small table in my bedroom, carefully crafting, decorating, and writing the letter to her asking for help and protection. Once I finished, I stood in front of the doorway of my pitch black closet and threw the letter inside. In my childlike understanding, I believed that if closets were where adults went to pray privately, then perhaps that was also a place where I could be heard by spirit.
That moment changed my life forever.
To this day, I have never found that letter, even after searching for it many times throughout my life. From that point forward, my spiritual gifts began to awaken. I became highly sensitive to energy and spirit. My dreams became prophetic, my intuition intensified, and I began receiving guidance that would ultimately lead me on a lifelong path of healing, elevation, remembrance, and spiritual transformation throughout my teenage years and into my twenties.
Today, I am a ceremonial guide, sound therapist, initiated medicine woman, and founder of Shrine of Divinity, a sacred healing space devoted to helping others reconnect with their own divinity, healing, and spiritual alignment. My work bridges ancestral wisdom, sound therapy, sacred ceremony, sisterhood, and spiritual guidance to help others remember who they truly are. And my Grandmother is at the head of my spiritual court always covering, guiding and protecting me on this sacred path.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not. My path has been deeply beautiful, but it has also required immense strength, surrender, and self-mastery.
One of the greatest struggles along the way was learning how to carry spiritual sensitivity in a world that often misunderstands it. As my gifts began activating at a young age, I experienced moments of isolation because I could sense, feel, and intuit things that many people around me could not fully understand. There were seasons where I questioned myself, dimmed myself, or felt afraid of the depth of what I was experiencing.
I also experienced tremendous emotional growth throughout my teens and twenties. Healing is not linear, and being spiritually gifted does not exempt you from pain, grief, betrayal, lessons, heartbreak, abandonment, financial hardship, or deep periods of transformation. In many ways, my path required me to confront myself fully. I had to learn discernment, boundaries, emotional regulation, and how to protect my energy while still remaining openhearted and compassionate.
Building Shrine of Divinity also came with challenges. Holding sacred space for others is deeply meaningful work, but it also requires sacrifice, discipline, and responsibility. There were moments of burnout, moments where I overextended myself while trying to pour into everyone else, moments where my shadows were revealed to me, and moments where I had to rebuild after setbacks. I have learned that being a healer does not mean neglecting your own healing and owning your shit!
Another challenge was accepting that spiritual leadership can sometimes feel lonely. The deeper you grow in awareness, the more intentional you must become about the people, environments, and energies you allow around you. There were relationships and versions of myself that I had to release in order to fully step into alignment with my purpose.
However, every challenge became a teacher.
The pain taught me compassion.
The isolation taught me self-trust.
The hardship taught me resilience.
And the spiritual path taught me surrender.
Today, I view my journey not as a perfect road, but as a sacred unfolding that shaped me into the woman and guide I am today.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Shrine Of Divinity ?
Shrine of Divinity is a sacred healing and wellness brand devoted to helping individuals reconnect with their divinity, inner clarity, emotional healing, and spiritual alignment. At the heart of my work is the belief that healing should be intentional, transformative, and deeply rooted in both spiritual wisdom and community care.
I specialize in sound therapy, sacred ceremony, soul readings, women’s empowerment gatherings, ancestral healing practices, and spiritual guidance. Through Shrine of Divinity, I facilitate sacred sister circles, sound baths, plant medicine ceremonies, retreats, mentorship programs, and healing experiences designed to help people release emotional heaviness, reconnect with themselves, and awaken deeper levels of purpose and self-awareness.
One of the things I am most known for is the way I create deeply safe, nurturing, and transformative spaces for women to heal collectively and my River Cleanse Ceremony. Many people describe entering Shrine of Divinity as feeling like they are entering a sacred sanctuary where they can finally exhale, be seen, and feel spiritually held. My work combines sound healing, energy work, ancestral reverence, guided meditation, ritual, and sisterhood in a way that allows people to experience healing not just mentally, but emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
What sets my work apart is that it is deeply lived, intuitive, and heart-centered. I do not approach healing as a performance or trend. My work is rooted in genuine life experience, spiritual discipline, cultural reverence, compassion, and years of personal transformation. Every ceremony, retreat, and offering is intentionally created with care, presence, and purpose. I believe people can feel authenticity, and that sincerity is one of the most healing energies we can offer.
I am also incredibly proud of the community that has formed around Shrine of Divinity. Over the years, we have cultivated a powerful sisterhood of women who support one another through healing, remembrance, elevation, and personal growth. Seeing women reclaim their voices, soften into their femininity, reconnect with their intuition, and build lasting bonds with one another has been one of the greatest honors of my journey.
Brand wise, I am most proud that Shrine of Divinity has remained grounded in integrity and impact. We have built a deeply loyal community and have received over 100 five star reviews from clients who have experienced profound transformation through our offerings. Many people come to us during some of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives, and being trusted to hold space for that level of healing is something I never take lightly.
I want readers to know that Shrine of Divinity is more than a business. It is a living healing space, a sanctuary, and a movement centered around remembrance, restoration, sacred connection, and transformation. Whether someone attends a ceremony, receives a sound healing session, joins a retreat, or simply encounters our work online, my hope is that they leave feeling more connected to themselves, their spirit, and their path.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was very quiet, observant, imaginative, and deeply connected to nature. I always felt different, and I think people around me sensed that too. While many children were focused on fitting in, I was the girl outside, lying in the grass, staring at the clouds, wandering through nature, and feeling deeply connected to the earth and spirit around me.
I was fascinated by the mystical and unknown from a very young age. I loved reading R.L. Stine books, watching horror films, studying anything “witchy,” and exploring spirituality long before it became mainstream. I was always searching for deeper meaning, hidden symbolism, energy, and the unseen layers of life.
As I got older, I became very free-spirited and adventurous. I was definitely a bit of a hipster and wanderer at heart. I loved music, rave culture, artistic expression, traveling, and exploring beautiful natural places like waterfalls, rivers, forests, and oceans. Nature became both my sanctuary and my teacher. I would spend hours swimming in rivers, grounding myself outdoors, and chasing experiences that made me feel alive and spiritually connected.
I was also always “that spiritual friend.” The one people came to for advice, comfort, perspective, or emotional support. Even before I fully understood my gifts, people naturally gravitated toward me for guidance and healing energy. In many ways, I never truly switched up ..I simply evolved more deeply into who I always was.
Today, I often say that I evolved into my “goddess era,” but the truth is the foundation was always there. The little girl connected to spirit, nature, intuition, imagination, and healing simply grew into a woman who now helps guide and uplift many others through her work.
