Inspiring Conversations with Harvey Logan of Harvey The Credit Houdini

Today we’d like to introduce you to Harvey Logan.

Hi Harvey, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I came up from humble beginnings. My father was a janitor and my mother was a teacher in my hometown. I attended Stillman College an HBCU in Alabama where I graduated with Degree in Business Management. When I graduated college, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do but I had a knack for dealing with people which eventually led me into sales!! I always knew I wanted to do something that would give me the opportunity to help people but also give me the opportunity to live a good life. I always felt I had a hunger for success I just didn’t know within what field until I fell in love with sales and the thought of entrepreneurship which led me into credit repair!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I can honestly say that over the years, I had to truly grind and continue to reinvent myself as an entrepreneur. I can remember selling everything from women’s virgin hair, clothes, beds, and even automobiles with various auto dealerships. One of the biggest attributes I’d tell any aspiring entrepreneur I feel you must have is the desire to succeed even when others don’t believe in you. There will be moments when you have a vision as clear as day that you may try to get others to envision that may be a goal of yours. They may not be open-minded enough to grasp it but as long as you believe it’s attainable and continue your persistence good things will come.

As you know, we’re big fans of Harvey The Credit Houdini. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
“I am the Founder/Owner of Harvey The Credit Houdini which aids thousands of people a year through credit restoration. I help guide people with not only credit repair but help them gain the financial knowledge to get to financial freedom. We do our best to get people to be aware of how many people are out there with inaccurate accounts on their credit profiles. Accounts that hinder them from being able to purchase homes, houses, etc. By helping aid them in the removal of those inaccuracies truly feels good when helping people reach their goals,” I feel I differentiate from my competition because I give a more family-friendly approach. We try to make everyone feel like family regardless of how many people we talk to on a daily basis. We do our best to let people know there is not just a number but a client that we want to see succeed and be successful. We are big on not just providing a good service but also on educating the client on what it means to have better credit or to be in a more financially suitable situation for the future.”

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
I’d most likely have to say just thinking back on the times that I got to spend working with my parents. I always remember different times where I was helping my parents on whatever side hustles they may have been doing at the time. Most Saturday mornings, I’d be out with my dad cutting grass and other times, I’d be with my mom helping her with her photography business. Coming up with two parents that not only worked 9-5’s but also had side hustles, I feel helped groom me into the person I am today!!
