Inspiring Conversations with Ian Daniel of Anatomy Class Entertainment Studios

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ian Daniel.

Hi Ian, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Being that my dad was managing a rap group called “Durtyville” back in the early 2000’s, occasional studio visits were the norm. As I got I got older, I began writing my own songs, and eventually recording myself. I had been in the studio to have my songs recorded professionally, but over time, the need for it began to dwindle. I became better and better at recording my own vocals, and I continued to record, mix, and master for other people as well. After about 11 or 12 years of experimenting and putting out music, I opened my own recording studio in 2021, and freelanced as an audio engineer ever since. However, my title doesn’t stop there. Initially an artist, I moved into photography, videography, and even artist showcasing.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
You can never expect the road to be smooth. One of the main struggles for me was securing an authorized, treated, convenient, and safe room. The stars really have to align. I opened my first recording studio in Snellville, GA. It was originally going to be a gym, but the property was not zoned for a training facility, so i pivoted to the studio. To keep this condensed to a few short novels, the problems with the building were not ideal for that kind of setup with equipment like backdrops, lights, computer, speakers, etc. On top of that, getting out of the lease and subleasing was quite a treacherous battle. But hey, I guess the best teacher is wasting a bunch of money.

Outside of that, remaining sharp with your craft is important. You don’t notice your flaws until you’ve already sent the song out for distribution. But we all have those songs we don’t like. You have to make mistakes to get better.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Anatomy Class Entertainment Studios offers an array of entertainment services. Specializing in audio production, recording, mixing, and mastering, we also do photography and videography. What sets us apart is our versatility and our customer service. Recently, we’ve gotten into events, providing a platform for artists to showcase their work. We are probably most proud of the event we launched in August of 2025, called Underground Lab; which was a success. We are also very proud of the work we’ve done for our clients and partners. We’ve been a part of many projects at C4 Records in Conyers, GA, and Sweetbox Studios in Atlanta, GA. Can’t thank them enough!

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
It sounds cliche, but consistency is key. I’ve been doing this for almost 15 years now and I have more skills, knowledge, a stronger network, and access to so much more than I could have imagined. You have to get in there and get your reps in to get better. That goes for anything.
