Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacques Pierre.

Hi Jacques, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My story starts out as a descendant of Haitian immigrants and growing up in poor household questioning my purpose in life. After I realized me and my family were not in a place to where I could afford to go to college, I had to pull the plug on the idea of attending college and dropped out after only being there for three days. In that time, I hit one of the lowest points of depression and just felt like a failure until I discovered the world of real estate investing/wholesaling at 19 years old, and that’s when my the entire direction of my life changed. Starting out in this industry as that age with my skin color was a challenge in itself especially since I only started out with only $600 to my name that I earned from working as a server and at home depot. I figured nobody would take this teen seriously in this business but boy was I wrong, and in that I learned my biggest life lesson don’t let your self-doubts and insecurities block you from your biggest blessings. I chose to believe in myself and ability and since then, I ended up completing my first house flip at 19 while still living in my parent’s basement. I hired my first employee at 20, built a real estate company that grossed $700,000 in revenue in its first year at 21. Then took that company to $1.1 million in revenue the following year after at 22. Took so many losses and learned a lot of hard life lessons, but used that same information to get to where I am now with a company on track to do 1.7 million in revenue and has a team size of 16 employees located all over the world here in the states, and in countries like the Philippines, Honduras, and El Salvador. I want to share my story to the world because I want people to see and be inspired to not allow their age, background, upbringing, financial status, race, and environment from holding them back from pursuing their dreams. I believe that everybody should do their most to leave their mark on this world and on the lives of the people around them. I want this story to be the beacon of hope for them to do that. There is more to the story of course but I hope this gives a little insight to who I am.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road, one of my biggest challenges were the lack of knowledge and experience it had caused me to miss out on so many opportunities such as certain deals, have employees just up and quit on me, caused me to mismanage money early in my career to the point of where my bank account would be in the negatives and I would go an entire month without making money. I had to sacrifice my friendships, dating, partying, and any existence of a work-life balance. I’ve had to deal with crazy homeowners and tenants. Spending 16 hours in a Tyvek suit in a small crawlspace cleaning out mold or work 14-hour workdays without any income coming in just to make this dream come to life. I’ve people close to me laughed in my face when I first started but through all of this, I still continued on this journey.

What matters to me most is impact and people. The reason being is that I believe the measure of a man or woman is not about what they’ve accomplished on this earth but instead of how many lives they’ve directly impacted in a positive way.
