Inspiring Conversations with Olivia Price of Olivia J Price Real Estate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Olivia Price.

Hi Olivia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Real estate has always been more than buying and selling homes for me—it’s about creating opportunities, building wealth, and strengthening communities. I purchased my first home at the age of 21, and that experience sparked a passion for helping others achieve the dream of homeownership. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving hundreds of families while growing one of Georgia’s top-performing real estate teams.

Today, my mission extends beyond real estate transactions. I’m committed to educating, mentoring, and empowering the next generation of leaders. One of the initiatives I’m most excited about is launching a Real Estate Work-Based Learning Program with Decatur High School. This program will give students real-world exposure to the real estate industry, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and career development, helping them build valuable skills before they graduate.

I believe that success is measured not only by the homes we sell, but by the lives we impact. Through education, mentorship, and community partnerships, I’m dedicated to creating pathways for young people and families to build brighter futures and lasting generational wealth.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road hasn’t always been easy. As a Black woman building a business in the real estate industry, I’ve had to overcome obstacles that often required me to work harder to earn trust, establish credibility, and create opportunities in spaces where women and people of color have historically been underrepresented. There were moments when I had to prove my expertise before being given the same level of confidence that others received automatically.

In addition to navigating market changes and the demands of entrepreneurship, balancing leadership, family, and community responsibilities has required resilience, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to my purpose. Rather than allowing those challenges to define me, I used them as motivation to grow, lead with excellence, and create opportunities for others.

Those experiences have strengthened my passion for mentorship, financial education, and community impact. They are a driving force behind initiatives like the Real Estate Work-Based Learning Program with Decatur High School, where I hope to inspire and equip the next generation—especially young people from underrepresented communities—to see themselves as future homeowners, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders. My goal is to leave the industry more inclusive and accessible than I found it.

We’ve been impressed with Olivia J Price Real Estate, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Olivia J. Price Real Estate is more than a real estate brokerage—we are a community-driven organization dedicated to helping individuals and families build wealth through homeownership, real estate investing, and education. As one of the top-performing real estate teams in Northeast Georgia, we provide expert guidance for first-time homebuyers, sellers, investors, luxury clients, and those navigating life transitions such as probate and estate sales.

What sets us apart is our commitment to education before the transaction. We believe informed clients make empowered decisions, which is why we invest heavily in homebuyer workshops, financial literacy programs, community partnerships, and mentorship opportunities. Our mission isn’t simply to help clients buy or sell a home—it’s to help them create lasting generational wealth.

One of our proudest accomplishments is expanding our impact beyond real estate by developing programs that prepare future leaders. Through our partnership with Decatur High School, we’re launching a Real Estate Work-Based Learning Program that introduces students to careers in real estate, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and business development. By exposing young people to real-world opportunities, we’re helping build the next generation of professionals and community leaders.

At Olivia J. Price Real Estate, our success is measured not only by the families we serve but by the communities we strengthen. We are passionate about creating opportunities, fostering economic empowerment, and ensuring that every client and every student we impact has the tools and confidence to build a brighter future.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I owe my success to the many people who have supported me along the way. I’m grateful to God, my family, mentors, dedicated team, and the clients who have trusted me with one of the biggest decisions of their lives. Their encouragement, guidance, and belief in my vision have inspired me to keep growing, giving back, and creating opportunities for others through real estate and community partnerships.
