We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Owning a small business and a creative space has definitely not been a smooth road. The obstacles we’ve faced have been significant, starting with financial challenges. When you’re funding everything yourself without external assistance or additional resources, it all comes out of your own pocket, which can be a heavy burden.
Marketing has also been a major hurdle—ensuring we market effectively, stay consistent, and keep up with trends while managing all the other demands of the business. Multitasking has become a necessity because, as a small business, it’s just my business partner and me handling everything without a full team.
Despite the challenges, the rewards and sense of accomplishment make it all worth it. Knowing we’ve put our blood, sweat, and tears into this business and built it from the ground up is incredibly fulfilling. Seeing the growth and impact we’ve achieved in just one year is something we’re truly proud of, and it motivates us to keep pushing forward.
