Keyana Watts of Gwinnett on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Keyana Watts. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Keyana , thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: Who are you learning from right now?
Maegan Mogul

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hey it’s ya gurl Keyconnecs; I am the key to the entertainment and dance world. Production manger and event and hospitality specialist. Been in the industry since July 2014. I have worked with numerous companies such as Redbull, Nike, Snipes, World of Dance just to name a few.

What makes me unique is I have a passion for people; the person or my audience comes first.

I’m the key to streets.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
My relationship with my friend Maegan Mogul changed my life forever. She was the mentor and guidance I needed in my life. One of the most talented and smartest women I know.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
People pleasing . I learned that no matter if you’re up or down you’re always going to have a hater. Ive learned if you believe in yourself and you believe in your vision you can do anything . The only person you need to impress is god and if he approves no other person opinion matter even the people closes to you.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
What really matters to me the most is I want to see everyone win. I hate to see people struggle; if I can push them to their full potential I will.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I would hope that they would say that key was for the people. She loved everyone even her enemy. She really is a lover not a fighter and wanted life to be easier.
