Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Drumz & Rosez of Atlanta

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Drumz & Rosez. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Drumz &, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I like to sit in complete silence for the first 30mins of my day. No phone, no electronics, no distractions. Just myself & God. After that I will eat/find me something to eat, & once I’m done with that I’ll either jump on the game for about 30mins-60mins & then jump into music

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I go by the name of Drumz & Rosez, I am an audio engineer & producer. I just recently did some work on Tyler Perry’s All the Queens, I have lots more coming as far as sync placements. I just released a new ep & I am currently working on 4 at the moment

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
After losing my mother in 2018. I had already lost my dad, but losing my mother just sealed everything for me

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Absolutely. I went through, & I am still battling every emotion to push through. It’s not easy at all but i just keep telling myself that I can’t stop & I have to keep pushing. My parents, my sisters, they are rooting for me & I can’t let them down

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Music & just spreading love. It’s so hard in this country & in this world. A little love can go a very LONG way

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What light inside you have you been dimming?
Honestly, it’s been a constant mental & emotional struggle/battle within myself. I just don’t understand certain things in this life that happens & like I stayed before, it’s nowhere near easy. Sometimes, more often lately, I have been finding myself more eager to give up
