Let’s jump in: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day is pretty much mommy mode getting my kids situated ready for school breakfast and making there lunch.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello my name is Kianna and I’m a master nail tech and a mother of two. My brand is Nails By Kianna and I’ve been doing nails for the past 15 years. I’ve gotten so many opportunities with becoming a nail tech that molded me in to becoming a business owner. I’m currently looking to start new businesses outside of nails to increase income in every aspect possible.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who taught you the most about work?
By working in the salon 90% was Asian decent I learned so much from them and there work ethic they are very informative when it comes to running a nail salon everything is so routine.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
Before I started my own business I was very nervous to leave the nail shop because of the security of always having a customer even if I had no appointments I always got walk in’s. Eventually I stepped out on faith and trusted that everything was going to be ok and it was.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That it’s easy to run a business which is not true it comes with so many factors but you just have to be confident that things will work out for you.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
My personality most of my clients became family to me I enjoy everyone of them and so grateful for them always putting me into there lives and schedule monthly.
