Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with LateNightCreator of Atlanta

We’re looking forward to introducing you to LateNightCreator . Check out our conversation below.

LateNightCreator , so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
Myself. My relationship with God. Building and learning who I’m becoming and meant to be on this earth. Discovering how God sees me, and what he has called over my life. My purpose.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello, My name is LateNightCreator. I am An Acrylic Painter born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. I create Art that awakens the soul. Bringing emotions to those who seek them. Acknowledging topics and emotions that people have either hidden due to life’s events, or those who have forgotten they existed. Telling my story and what my soul screams at a giving time, hoping that it touches those who either relate, or those who don’t know what their feelings and thoughts look like in certain seasons. I want to evoke the spirit and give people a space to enjoy. Experiencing those emotions that life can numb away whether sadness, happiness, self love, confusing, love etc.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
That I had to shrink myself to fit people’s comfort. That my life circumstances were all that I’d obtain in life. That I had To people please to be loved. That I had to let go of every single awkward thing about myself to fit in.

When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
Painting. Creating and telling stories. So therapeutic. Also, listening to Nicki Minaj’s music.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
My purpose in life. To fulfill the purpose over my life.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. Have you ever gotten what you wanted, and found it did not satisfy you?
Yes, and I’ll say because I didn’t live in the moment and enjoy the journey. I saw the accomplishment as something I was suppose to do and not how hard I worked to achieve it, those moments in between that made it what it is, an accomplishment. Also, allowing worldly things to have a high level of value that when I got It and experienced it, i didn’t want it anymore just to say I have It.
