Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Monique Rauls of Duluth

We recently had the chance to connect with Monique Rauls and have shared our conversation below.

Monique, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Recently, I’ve felt proud just seeing how far I’ve come—both personally and professionally. There were moments when I doubted myself or felt stretched thin, but now I can look back and see real growth. It makes me proud to know I kept showing up, even on the hard days. And honestly, the laughter comes from the little things—those behind-the-scenes moments where something goes wrong, but we find a way to laugh through it. It reminds me to stay grateful and not take everything so seriously while I keep building what I love.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Monique Rauls, founder of ShinePro Commercial Clean, where we’re “Making a Clean Difference.” I launched ShinePro with a mission to deliver reliable, thorough, and eco friendly cleaning services tailored to each client’s unique needs. What makes me stand out is my hands-on approach and personal dedication to quality, ensuring every client enjoys a spotless, safe, and welcoming environment. My passionate and heart make ShinePro special and unique, I believe that cleaning isn’t just about appearance it’s about creating spaces that feel good to be in.

I’m really excited about our new Luxe Shine Collection, which includes our Air Fresh and Carpet Powder. They were created to refresh, renew, and elevate any space. Both products instantly make a room feel cleaner and more inviting, with a soft, sophisticated scent that lingers. Whether it’s for a home or a workspace, I wanted to bring a touch of luxury to the everyday clean—something that feels fresh, uplifting, and a little indulgent.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
The relationship that’s shaped me the most is the one I’ve built with myself. Learning to trust my instincts, set boundaries, and give myself grace has changed everything—personally and professionally. It taught me that when you truly value yourself, it reflects in the way you lead, the way you serve others, and the standards you hold for your business.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
One of the biggest lessons for me came from the time and energy I gave to the wrong people, places, and situations. For a long time, I poured into things that didn’t pour back into me—and that took a toll. But healing came when I realized that none of it was truly wasted. It taught me what’s sacred: my peace, my boundaries, and my worth. Now, I’m more intentional about where I invest my time and energy, and that’s been the real growth.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
I can’t prove it, but I’ve lived it. The moments I thought were setbacks were really setups for growth and alignments

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What will you regret not doing?
I don’t want to look back wondering, “What if?”
