Hi Shantravia, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
Character and Integrity. I’m most Proud of building a Solid, Loyal, Caring Character over the years. I’ve felt the growth in how I approach situations. I’ve felt the growth in what I say to people. I’ve felt myself evolve into the character I wish to leave behind when I’m gone one day. I hope that people will say I was Good to them and that I loved them when they encountered me. My Integrity comes along with my Business Mind like and having a Love for people which in turn produces Disciplined thoughtful Customer Service which always makes the customers happy.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello I’m Shantravia Jackson-Turner (I married on 5/20/23). I have 2 children one girl and one boy. Ages 19&17 years old. One in college. I have a wonderful supportive loving praying husband Christopher Turner Sr. I ran She Cleans Up, LLC out of Augusta Grubhub and the CSRA. I say RAN bc on 12/12/2024 I closed my business down after 6.5 years, thousands of houses, hundreds of commercial buildings, thousands of customers, lots of tears and hugs and wonderful employees. God moved me to start my business and he moved me to MOVE ON from my business, SO I DID. August 24,2025 (my 41st bday) I published my first book (my memoir) on Amazon and on my birthday . I became a Writer/Author which also used to be my passion as a kid. Then 3 weeks later on my husbands bday I released a Self Help Guide to Running a Consistent Cleaning Business and making 6 figures in 24 months also on Amazon and this is when I knew I had tapped into my new Passion and Purpose. I do plan to write and publish again maybe in a year or so.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Lies/Untrustworthiness Breaks the Bonds and LOYALTY restores them.
When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
My grandma. Knowing she never wanted me crying or sad and she’d do anything to make me feel better. She was the only person that really cared about me (my mom was a teen mom) and she made sure to make me feel loved and cared for. Miss that lady.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
Smart people want money fast so they can live a good life fast because they think because they are smart they can figure out how to get it and a lot of it fast. That’s just simply not how it works. Life happens at different times for everybody but SLOW AND STEADY will always be the key.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What will you regret not doing?
I will regret not running my business longer. Taking a step back to evaluate what was starting to wear on my mental health, correct it, and press on. I miss doing it, I miss my customers, I miss the employees.
