Nicolas, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Aye what’$ good it’s Nicolas Dawg I’m 23 years old from East Columbus, Ohio the hood and I make rap music for a hobby it’s Atlanta, Georgia inspired rap music. I’m interesting because I make cool rap music with my own style to it that people like. I had a medical setback when I was 19 before I could finish senior year of high school. It was an episode and the doctors say its psychosis caused by stress I was really exhausted and stressed from school and I wasn’t sleeping right or eating the best so I have to get invega needle shots and take pills every day after I eat breakfast and when I go to bed. I am okay now because I have medicine so I’m back in school so I can graduate it’s an online adult high school Ohio Graduation Alliance The American Academy. Rap is just my hobby in my free time. I want to be a Web Developer, Sales Rep, Author, Graphic Designer and Businessman. I want to be a billionaire and be really successful and make it out the hood.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
Growing up in the hood and coming from that type of stuff really shaped how I see the real world for how cold and real it can get. The streets ain’t a game.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
Growing up in the hood coming from not much and having to always make something out of nothing. Having an episode and being medicated. I will heal with time but I’m really traumatized by my life experiences right now but I still had good times.

Hard work and being real
