Today we’d like to introduce you to Drummer.
Hi Drummer, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
DrumTheWorld started from a simple mindset; keep moving, no matter what life throws at you.
Growing up, fashion was always something I admired, but it wasn’t always something I could afford. That became one of my biggest motivations. Instead of chasing the brands I couldn’t buy, I decided to build one of my own. I wanted to create clothing that looked and felt premium while remaining accessible to the people who inspired it. More than anything, I wanted DTW to stand for ambition, resilience, and the mindset of never standing still.
Like most entrepreneurs, the journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced manufacturing delays, long nights, balancing life while funding the brand, and plenty of moments where things didn’t go as planned. Every setback taught me something and pushed me to improve not only as a designer, but as a leader, a business owner, and a person.
Over time, DrumTheWorld has evolved from an idea into a growing streetwear brand with runway shows, pop-up experiences, collaborations, and supporters who genuinely connect with what we’re building. Seeing people wear something that started as a vision in my head is a feeling I’ll never take for granted. It’s a reminder that what began as an idea has grown into something people truly believe in.
Today, my focus is on continuing to elevate the brand through quality, storytelling, and timeless designs while creating experiences that bring people together. I don’t just want to build a clothing brand. I want to build a community and a culture that inspires people to keep moving forward, no matter where they are in life.
For me, this is just the beginning, and I’m excited to see where the journey leads next.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been learning every part of the business while trying to grow it at the same time. From finding the right manufacturers and dealing with production delays to funding collections out of my own pocket, every step has come with a lesson.
There have been moments where I questioned whether I should keep going. Some collections took longer than expected, opportunities fell through, and not every release went the way I envisioned. Building a brand also requires patience people often only see the finished product, not the months of planning, sampling, revisions, and problem solving behind the scenes.
At the end of the day, I’ve learned that setbacks are part of the process. Instead of looking at them as failures, I use them as opportunities to improve. Every challenge has made DrumTheWorld stronger, and it’s helped shape the vision I have for the future.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m the founder and creative director of DrumTheWorld, a streetwear brand built around the idea of constant movement and self belief. I oversee every part of the creative process from designing collections and sourcing materials to directing photoshoots, building campaigns, and shaping the brand’s identity. My goal has always been to create clothing that people feel confident wearing while telling a story that’s bigger than fashion.
I specialize in designing timeless streetwear with an emphasis on quality, versatility, and meaningful branding rather than chasing every trend. I focus on creating pieces that people can wear for years while still feeling fresh. Every collection is designed with intention, and every detail reflects the values behind DrumTheWorld.
What I’m most proud of is building the brand from the ground up through persistence and consistency. Seeing people wear DrumTheWorld, support the vision, and connect with the message is more rewarding than any individual sale.
What sets DrumTheWorld apart is that it’s more than a clothing brand, it’s a mindset about continuing to move forward regardless of the obstacles in front of you. That principle influences every design, every collection, and every decision we make. My goal isn’t just to sell clothing; it’s to build a brand that inspires people to keep pushing toward whatever they’re chasing.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My biggest piece of advice is to start before you feel ready. Don’t wait for everything to be perfect because you’ll learn more by taking action, making mistakes, and improving along the way. That’s also what I wish I knew when I was starting out. I spent a lot of time thinking everything had to be perfect, but I realized growth comes from experience. I’d also tell anyone starting out to invest in your knowledge as much as your product. The more you understand your craft, your customers, and the business behind your passion, the better prepared you’ll be for long term success.
