Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It was definitely a very complicated path since when I arrived in the United States I had no family here and losing my dad while I was writing my book novel, also the cultural change and the system. That caused many fears to grow, such as dealing with my problem of depression and anxiety, putting it in my head that I was not going to make it or that sometimes I was not talented enough to take on different roles in film production. But nevertheless, I am grateful for the path that I have lived since I believe the man I am today a more empathetic character but also to value every opportunity even more.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am specialized in film production and direction, I have been in this industry since 2009, over the years I have discovered different talents such as writing and creative production of scripts for films and commercial campaigns to Netflix Latinomerica, Pantaya and more streaming tv and film companies which has made my name known. Recently writer of the bestselling book “La Carpa y las Escrituras de los Cuatro Elegidos” Two worlds: the magical and the human. The Guardian of the North, a wise and enigmatic magician, has the important mission of traveling to the other world to find the chosen ones. So say the Scriptures. It is about four humans who must be initiated into magic and face an inescapable battle against the Western Legion, led from beyond by the powerful and malevolent Lord Balfour, who will not stop until he gains control. total worlds. It’s a race against time and it’s up to Ostin, Emmy, Susan and Martin to prevent the worst from happening. They must trust the Guardian and leave everything they know to earn their purple gloves, mystical sources of power, and travel to a world full of unknowns in a peculiar magical tent. The Guardian and the chosen ones embark on an adventure full of thrills and twists unexpected. They will take on unimaginable challenges, meet incredible characters, solve mysteries and risk their lives to save both worlds from the dark domain and thus maintain the delicate balance… that is about to be broken.
What I am most proud of is the dedication and effort that I have put into each project and, above all, the perseverance and patience of a career with many ups and downs. That has helped me to stand out in every project I am involved in, always learning from each creative, technical or production department. I don’t like just being in one, I like having the opportunity to be multifaceted and contribute as many ideas as possible.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Atlanta is definitely a city that I am passionate about because of its cultural diversity as well as being queer, and the support of living in a place where I feel accepted. For me it is important to have the opportunity to have a place that gives me creative possibilities and expands my skills, something that Atlanta gives me complemented by networking and the massive amount of creators that live in the area, maybe it is a city that is not perfect in its full capacity but I am not looking for perfection in a place that is super acceptable for me to be able to do what I am passionate about.
