Today we’d like to introduce you to Malachi Ward.
Hi Malachi, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Malachi, and I’m the person behind PrinceMJTV. I’m a social media influencer based out of North Carolina and from DMV, I create relatable daily skits based on everyday life. Whether it’s church skits, relationship comedy, old-head characters, teacher skits, or “kids be like” moments, my goal is always to make people laugh by turning real-life situations into entertaining stories.
I’ve always enjoyed making people laugh. Growing up, I would pay attention to the different personalities around me whether it was someone at church, a teacher at school, an old head with something funny to say, or even situations people go through in relationships. I realized that some of the funniest content comes from everyday life because people can see themselves, their family, or someone they know in those moments.
That’s what inspired me to start creating skits. I wanted to make content that people from all backgrounds could relate to and enjoy. Every video is an opportunity for me to become a better actor, storyteller, and entertainer while bringing smiles to people’s faces.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road I’ve had a lot of long lonely nights, a lot of nights of self doubt, a lot of nights of worrying, anxiety, not having the support of others but that’s when I learned patience, perseverance, and self discipline and dedication. You learn that sometimes you are all you need in the beginning there’s been plenty of times where I felt like I was not good enough but I kept pushing and that’s what I want the reader to understand, you have to keep pushing no matter the goal.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
The skits I make I have to film, edit, post, and repurpose to all of my platforms. I’m really a good editor with my skits, still improving my craft but editing is something I like to do. Also, I am pursuing to be a well known actor but I’m starting off with content creation until it’s time for me to branch out. I’m most proud of MYSELF!!! Myself, Myself, MYSELF! Because I’ve pushed through every low view, every low like, every difficult challenge, every set back. And what sets me apart is how I’m able to be patience enough and be consistent and dedicated that’s what I love about the journey all together is being consistent and dedicated.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I don’t have a mentor yet I’m still building to get to that level of finding someone I can trust and be able to help coach and guide me. I would say find someone you can trust because trust is important.
