Today we’d like to introduce you to Tikeria Smith.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
So I started my cleaning company in 2020. I quit my full-time job to pursue my dreams. I worked in property management initially so I kind of knew my way around apartments because I use to have to clean apartments to get them ready for my move-ins. I was obsessed with the apartments looking clean. So I knew I could clean houses after that I started doing commercial and it honestly just have been a blessing to stay booked. I love being an entrepreneur it has its challenges but I absolutely love it.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
So far it’s been good; it definitely has its challenges. One week you might be really booked the next week you might not be booked at all. Also just learning the how to deal with customers.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
So I’ve owned my cleaning company for about 2 years. I specialize in Residential Cleaning and commercial cleaning. I’m proud of just starting and staying consistent. I think I’m different because when I clean a house, I always drop a blue cleaning tablet in the toilet; that’s the DeepBlueCleaning way it’s an experience.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I’m a single mother with 3 kids and I’m very hard-working. I’m always trying to accomplish my dreams and take my business to the next level.
