Today we’d like to introduce you to Zykia Williams

Hi Zykia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Honestly, I’ve always been a great writer. From creating fiction masterpieces in elementary school, to receiving nothing less than an above average score on any essay that I wrote, to even writing for other people. All throughout my life, everyone around me was able to acknowledge that I was blessed literarily or in simpler terms: I had a way with my words.

Fast forward to 2022, I was at a place in my life where I felt stagnant. I wasn’t elevating, but I also wasn’t descending. I had gotten very comfortable with where I was in life and that just wasn’t enough for me. So, I started reading books on how to become the best version of myself and to say the least, that still didn’t help.

Fortunately enough, I was surrounded by many of God’s people, who constantly reminded me of His greatness and would always speak life into me. April of 2023, I decided to fully commit my life to Jesus and He immediately placed it on my heart to use my gift of words and writing to create books that educates people of all ages on His goodness, love, and mercy.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I can honestly say that it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. Some of the biggest challenges that I faced included: finding the correct information or paths to take to format my book, get it published, and promote it. I also faced challenges within myself. Doubting my potential to make it happen and being easily distracted from my calling.

God stood by me through it all. Always making a way, and placing me exactly where I needed to be. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without His guidance.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am an author, currently working on a series of Children’s books that are all faith-based. I recently began to publicly share my journey on Instagram- where I also help others grow their relationships with Christ.

I have a very strong love for children, and I understand how important it is to instill God into their lives at a young age. In addition to that, I know how it feels to be a child that needs God’s guidance and His love. We all do, so I’ve made it my mission to help others embrace Him, His love, and His goodness.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
The best way to support me is to continue sharing the message that God has trusted me to deliver. That could mean purchasing one of my books for you and your loves ones or something as simple as sharing a message from me that may touched you, with someone who truly needs it. My goal is to bring as many people as possible back home to Christ.
