Meet Ashante Rosier-Robinson, Esq. of The Rosier Law Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashante Rosier-Robinson, Esq. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Ashante Rosier-Robinson is the founder and managing partner of The Rosier Law Group, LLC and focuses her practice on counseling small business owners and entrepreneurs on brand development, brand protection, and intellectual property ownership rights.

Ashante was born and raised in the metro Atlanta area, attending Chamblee Middle School and Chamblee Charter High School. She went on to attend Furman University and obtained her undergraduate degree in Business Administration.

Ashante received her Juris Doctorate in 2018 from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC. During the first three years of her career, Ashante assisted business owners and entrepreneurs with contractual review and drafting, as well as guidance on intellectual property rights. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for helping business owners develop and protect their brands and secure ownership of their intellectual property! After discovering her love of intellectual property and understanding which community she wanted to focus on, Ashante officially launched her firm in June 2021!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has not been smooth at all! A couple of the biggest struggles I have faced were having my daughter at the outset of my legal career and opening my firm in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Being blessed with a child is always an amazing experience, however, no one can deny how having children can sometimes stunt your growth while you are trying to build a career. Having to juggle baby schedules and demanding work schedules was the ultimate driving factor behind me wanting to work for myself. Nothing is more important to me than being a present parent in my child’s life and traditional law firms do not create the environment for work-life balance.

Initially, gaining a client base in the middle of the pandemic proved to be difficult. I am not a huge fan of social media, but these days, Instagram and Tik Tok are the best places to get your name and brand out there. So it was very difficult stepping outside of my comfort zone in order to get and retain clients, but we are here and thriving now, thanks to social media!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Rosier Law Group, LLC is a virtual boutique law firm dedicated to serving small business owners and entrepreneurs with their intellectual property and business law needs. We work closely with our clients to provide them with the comprehensive legal support they need throughout the growth of their businesses.

Our mission is to empower minority-owned small businesses and entrepreneurs with the knowledge about what counts as intellectual property, assist them in the protection of their intellectual property, and provide them with the tools to protect their businesses as they grow.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I don’t know that I have a specific childhood memory but I do know that all of my favorite memories from my childhood involve activities and trips where my whole family was around. So that would be any of my volleyball games, my brother’s football games, my high school and college graduation, my brother’s graduations, and family vacations with both of my grandparents as well.

We are a very busy but close-knit family, so any time that we are all together, it is a great time!
