Today we’d like to introduce you to Cesar Rosado.
Hi Cesar, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Cesar Rosado born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Long Story short, I’m a big sports fan and in 1996, I came to Atlanta to experience the Olympics and support my country. During this visit, I met my wife which made Atlanta my hometown since then. Back in 2000, I met a friend who owned an event company. I began helping him with event production on the side and that’s when I truly discovered my passion, not just for DJing, but for the entire experience of creating events and making moments unforgettable. Word spread, and before I knew it, clients started reaching out for my DJ services, which led me to create my own entertainment company in 2010. This career has given me the opportunity to do what I feel passionate about which are music and making people’s events a dream come true. Looking back, I’m grateful for every step of this journey. Along the way, I’ve met incredible mentors and industry professionals who continue to inspire me. But there’s still so much more to accomplish. The entertainment industry is always evolving, and I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and chasing new opportunities.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t been an easy journey. Numerous obstacles along the way, including financial constraints, limited opportunities, difficulty of breaking into the industry, and building a reputation in a saturated market. There have been times when I wanted to give up but despite the setbacks, I persisted improving my skills and always sought for new opportunities. But every difficulty I encountered along the road has shaped me into the resilient and resourceful entrepreneur I’m today.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a professional DJ specializing in event production, providing not only DJ services but also special effects, MC services, and full event music coordination. I collaborate closely with event planners and clients to ensure a seamless experience from setup to execution. Known for my attention to detail, flexibility, dependability, and professionalism, I take pride in exceeding expectations and creating unforgettable events.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Not sure if it’s luck or not but, I believe being in the right place at the right time has given me the chance that led me to positive outcomes, or fortunate coincidences.
