Hi Cowin, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
As a young kid growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, I loved clothes which sparked my interest in wanting to creating an affordable men’s fashion brand. My passion for clothing resurfaced later in 2019, leading to the conception of LifeThrill. My experiences of being the go to guy in my core friend group for places to dine and have a good time, particularly as a general manager in Atlanta, influenced the brand’s concept of bringing thrill to everyday life, catering not just to fun-seeking moments but also to individual expressions of joy and fulfillment.

LifeThrill represents more than just fashion; it embodies a lifestyle rooted in celebrating personal thrills and uniqueness. My delight for entertaining and creating memorable experiences for others drives the brand’s spirit of spreading joy and excitement. The name itself, derived from the founder’s post-college years in Atlanta, symbolizes a life lived to the fullest, marked by moments of thrill and excitement. This mood extends beyond mere entertainment, acknowledging that everyone’s definition of thrill and fulfillment is unique, making LifeThrill a platform for expressing individuality through everyday clothing choices.

The brand’s core message resonates with the idea that life’s thrills are diverse and personal, transcending diverse backgrounds or societal norms. It aims to empower individuals to embrace their unique passions and experiences, reflected in what they wear daily. Whether it’s the thrill of a night out, the joy of pursuing one’s dreams, or the fulfillment found in everyday moments, LifeThrill captures these varied expressions of living life with excitement and purpose. Through LifeThrill, I seeks to inspire others to embrace their own and wear it proudly as a statement of self-expression and celebration of personal journeys.

I continue to Follow The Thrill as I add to my entrepreneurial spirit by giving back to the community the knowledge I’ve obtained in my 15 years in the hospitality industry. Operating in hospitality can be complex because every detail must align to ensure a flawless guest experience. Despite the industry’s tough nature, I see it as a training ground for broader business success, believing that mastering hospitality sets a solid foundation applicable to various ventures. Through my time I’ve been exposed to hospitality models, from large corporations to family-owned establishments and innovative newcomers, and gained insights into the industry’s dynamics, leading them to establish Mills Restaurant Consulting.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
As you know entrepreneurship isn’t the smoothest road to travel. With LifeThrill it was easy through the pandemic to build business as everyone was at home looking for new things to grab their attention and support new businesses. I was able to consistently drive business and had a lot of time to develop new ideas. As I transitioned back into hospitality full time it became more difficult to keep up with because the restaurant is so demanding. So far Mills restaurant Consulting is going well. I’ve been able to gain clients based on my marketing campaign and network I’ve built over the years.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
One book that has always stuck with me is Good to Great by Jim Collins. I’m always striving to learn something new and this book taught me a lot about how leaders impact their organizations and employees. It’s not the most exciting read, however it gives great perspective on how to build a brand and keep it successful after you’ve left your mark.
