Meet Daryl Richards

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daryl Richards.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Well, I started out in Atlanta, G.A. I was doing Open Mic Talent Shows all over Atlanta, G.A. while still in High School. The years were 2002-2004. I was working on my stage show and how to properly entertain a crowd. In the winter of 2004, I sign up for an Audition. The artist that was chosen would receive a chance to open up for a Major Artist. So I performed and The Judges Enjoyed My Performance. They asked me my age. I told them I was still in High School, but I would be done with that in the summer. That summer, I went overseas and opened up for many Major Artist and That how I became an International Entertainer. I have been doing this every since.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Well, I invested more money into my stage show than my Music Promotions. This was a big mistake. I had to learn the hard way “You must Always Promote.” Fans are the key to a successful Career. I put on a great stage show. This is the only reason promoters bring me back. If I could do things differently, I would have paid for a top-of-the-line promotion when I was younger.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Well, I write all types of music for different artists. My stage name is Saen. I have music available on many streaming and purchasing platforms. I write and produce music. The most important thing people must do is maintain respect and work with a sense of urgency. Always be on time or early for all obligations.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Yes, I have discovered new Music Promotional devices. I hope I have successful results, but this is something I never seem to be certain on. The songs I think is a hit sometimes don’t do anything. I just keep making the music I love and promoting constantly.
