Meet Diamond Enlow of Rough Society Entertainment

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diamond Enlow.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Diamond. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Rough Society Entertainment and its’ movement is influenced by my hometown, East. St. Louis in Illinois. I’ve always had love for literature and theatre. Coming from a city where the entertainment industry isn’t at the forefront, in 2017 I created this movement where artist and creatives can generate our own opportunities. I decided to take a leap of faith and move to Atlanta to gain more experience and exposure needed for this industry. Production dreams soon became acting dreams, and as I began to network and link up with other creatives in the city, my vision became clearer.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
My journey has not been a smooth road, however from each lesson to blessing, it has all been worth it. Staying consistent and having faith in my art is what eliminates most struggles that come about. Also, having a good support system and a reliable partner/team is very important to the success of this movement. I have been blessed to work with various independent artist and filmmakers here in Atlanta, who have educated and guided me down this road. I’m glad to have not had a perfectly smooth road because the bumps make me grind harder.

Rough Society Entertainment – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Rough Society Entertainment is a movement for the independent creative. Along with being the founder, I’m also an actress, screenwriter, videographer, director, promoter, producer, and entertainer. Rough Society Entertainment released its’ first official project “Triggered: The Mini Series” written by myself and Chelsey Johnson, October 31st, 2019. We love the response we receive from our supporters. I’m excited to release other projects in the future, giving opportunities to other aspiring actors and creatives. What makes me the most proud of this movement is that everyone involved is hungry! Everyone has a clear vision and dream they are chasing and with RoughENT we all contribute; whether it be a promotion, creating new ideas, or just support. Rough Society Entertainment is a family.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Properly planning, staying consistent, staying true to you, and putting in the work is how success comes about. Only you can define what success means to you by determining what you want your destination to be. I believe that success is accomplishing each and every goal you set out for yourself and then some. Also, success is finally taking that leap of faith to being the most authentic and best you that you can be!
