Today we’d like to introduce you to Geri Alicea.
Hi Geri, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started Halo Creative Services in June of 2019. Back then, I was working a stressful call center job but one day, I just couldn’t take it anymore. I woke up and almost had an anxiety attack just thinking about going to work and I knew something had to change immediately. I was already doing graphic design on the side, so I decided to give it my all. So I quit my job and became a full-time entrepreneur.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has not always been smooth sailing, LOL. There are weeks where I have consistent work and clients. Then there are some weeks where things are a little tight. But I learned that those things are just a part of taking the risk of entrepreneurship. No matter what kind of days or weeks I’m having, I can honestly say that I love what I do.

Halo Creative Services is a faith-based graphic design company that specializes in websites, branding and custom graphics for Christian Entrepreneurs. Our tag line is “You bring the vision. We’ll partner with God and take care of the rest.” As a faith-based company, we understand that all creativity comes from God. So, we partner with Him through prayer to get the strategy and insight we need to take our client’s brand and business to the next level.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I honestly believe that my authenticity and transparency have a lot to do with my success. As a Christian, I live my life being open and honest so those things are how I operate my business as well. And it has served me well. Being authentic and transparent has afforded me opportunities that I’m not technically qualified for.
