Meet Lecasshius Stargell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lecasshius Stargell.

Hi Lecasshius, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
At a young age, I always knew that I would end up in the entertainment field. I was in love with shows like “Rap City,” “106 and Park”, and MTV Jams. Early on, hip-hop was A huge thing growing up in southwest Atlanta. A family member of mine had an extensive relationship with R&B singer “Monica,” and I would always receive her latest records or autographed posters, which, in retrospect, I believe, gave me a love for R&B/neo soul music as well as southern hip-hop. Early on, meeting people like “Killer Mike, Young Jeezy, and T.I., Gave me a sense or feeling of knowing I could be in the same room with them one day if I worked hard at the craft.

Let’s fast forward to Creekside High School in South Fulton, Atlanta, GA. By this time, the music scene in Atlanta was at its peak with acts such as Young Jeezy T.I., Roscoe Dash, Soulja Boy, Travis Porter, Rich Kids, and many more. Attending this high school, I became friends with Sergio Kitchens and Benjamin Ithesbia, who are now major hip-hop acts “Gunna & Ogmaco”. During this time, we would record music, throw parties, and host the school pep rallies, and initially, this was the start of everyone building their potential fan base and career.

Right out of high school and shortly after attending Columbus State University, I returned to Atlanta with a business plan after seeing the party scene in Columbus, GA, and how lucrative promoting events could be even in smaller cities. Through the help of my mother, grandparents, best friend Brent Ingram, and help from A family friend, “Sweet,” I was able to invest and help build what would become “Club Aries,” one of the first stops for buzzing independent artists in Atlanta. I would book the hottest music in the streets and bring it to the forefront for the entire city to poll. And we had successful emerge such as Young Thug, Johnny Cinco, Rich Homie Quan, and many more.

Once I got a taste of the booking side of the business, I told myself I was ready for artist management. Trouble of duct tape/MMB was my first official artist. I would later go on to manage and help further the careers of many, such as YSL Duke, Bloody Jay, Tk Kravitz, Kollision, Guaptarantino, and more.

Today I have been blessed to be added as a record executive with the live mixtapes platform and Freebandz Ent, full-time managing Freebandz breakout artist Guaptarantino. I also established a publishing company, “Element Music,” and we are fully supported by Sonny Music Publishing and Harry Fox, so I can’t wait to see the new artists I help bring to the world’s view. In conclusion, we have accomplished A lot like going 2x platinum with Tk Kravitz or even with Guaptarantino record “Very Begin” going gold. But I’m still hungry, still ambitious, still creative, and still in love with the very thing I fell in love with almost 30 years ago.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all

From releases being held up for copyright reasons, artwork, or being booked for a venue to get there and they don’t have the full payment for the talent.

I tell everyone never give up on day 3o when you’re blessing on day 31, and every month doesn’t have 31 days, so sometimes you just have to be patient.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Full-Time Artist Management

Event Planner

A&R Record Exec

I specialize in getting a person from one point to their next destination. I’m most known for keeping my word. I won’t ever promise an artist or creator that I can make them a star, but one thing I’m almost certain of Is that I can get them a step closer to being a star and that’s what I believe also separates me from others. I’m realistic, reliable, and honest.

What I’m most proud of is so far, I’ve grown spiritually even in this industry lol, but also my artist Guaptarantino, watching him become serious about the craft helped me stay serious about the craft. He’s a hard worker and I’m proud of that for him.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Full of life, witty, smart, always reading books for fun, I loved to solve the hardest math problems in the class, guess you could say I was a knowledge freak, lol
