Meet Leisa Dareus of Sincerely Posh Events

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leisa Dareus.

Hi Leisa, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Sincerely Posh Events was born from my love for creating experiences that bring people together. I’ve always been the person who pays attention to the little details and finds joy in making moments feel special.

When I got married, I hired a wedding planner, but I was very hands on with the design of my wedding. I poured myself into every detail, and during the process my planner noticed my creativity, organization, and eye for design. After my wedding, she started inviting me to help with some of her clients’ events.

What started as helping behind the scenes turned into something much bigger. I discovered that I truly loved helping people bring their vision to life. As referrals started coming in and opportunities continued to grow, I decided to take a leap of faith and launch Sincerely Posh Events.

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to help clients celebrate some of life’s most meaningful moments. Whether it’s a wedding, baby shower, milestone celebration, or corporate event, I approach each one with the same goal. I want my clients to feel seen, supported, and excited throughout the process.

Today, Sincerely Posh Events is built on a simple belief. Every event should reflect the people at the center of it. That’s why our slogan is ‘Your Vision. Our Passion. Perfectly Posh.’ It’s more than a tagline. It’s the promise we make to every client we serve.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not always been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been balancing entrepreneurship with a full time corporate career while raising my children. Building a business requires a significant investment of time, energy, and resources, and there have been many seasons where I had to be intentional about how I managed all three.

Another challenge has been growing Sincerely Posh Events in a competitive industry. Building brand awareness, earning client trust, and creating a consistent stream of bookings takes patience and persistence. Like many small business owners, I have experienced periods of growth as well as periods that required me to adapt, refine my approach, and continue investing in the business even when results were not immediate.

More recently, I relocated to Atlanta and have been working to establish new relationships and expand my network in a new market. Starting over in a different city while continuing to serve clients has pushed me outside of my comfort zone, but it has also created new opportunities for growth.

Each challenge has strengthened my resilience, deepened my faith, and reinforced my commitment to serving my clients with excellence. Every experience has helped shape Sincerely Posh Events into the company it is today, and I am excited about what the future holds.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Sincerely Posh Events is a full service event planning, design, and coordination company specializing in weddings, milestone celebrations, and meaningful gatherings that bring people together. We partner with our clients to transform their vision into thoughtfully designed experiences that feel personal, polished, and unforgettable.

What sets us apart is our ability to blend creativity, organization, and genuine care throughout the planning process. We do more than manage timelines and décor. We help guide our clients through one of the most important moments of their lives. From the initial concept to the final farewell, we oversee every detail with intention so our clients can focus on being present and enjoying the experience.

One thing I am most proud of is my ability to manage expectations, remain level headed under pressure, and navigate high emotion situations with professionalism and grace. Events often involve significant investments, family dynamics, tight timelines, and important life milestones. My clients know they can trust me to stay calm, find solutions, and keep everyone moving forward even when challenges arise.

At Sincerely Posh Events, we believe beautiful design is important, but the experience matters just as much. Our goal is to create events that not only look exceptional but also leave our clients and their guests with memories they will cherish.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I design experiences centered around the emotions my clients want their guests to feel. While the visual design is important, what matters most is creating meaningful moments that leave a lasting impression. Anyone can create a beautiful event, but my goal is to create an experience that people remember long after the celebration is over.
