Hi Marcus, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m a military dependent, a student athlete, and a Networking King 👑! At a young age, I learned that communication was the key to everything, meaning building friendships. Due to being a military dependent, we moved around a lot so I had to push myself for that “hello” while meeting new people. • I started my drive has been having a solid foundation pertaining to education, experience, and confidence. When I graduated college, I didn’t feel success, it felt like another day and I had to dress up for. I didn’t know where I wanted to go how I wanted to do it. I still had workouts and looks with football and baseball. When all those things didn’t pan out due to injuries and so I changed my focus. My focus was to use my degree 📜 and start a career to earn a living. I wasn’t raised in a wealthy household so I knew I had to earn experience and strive for greatness. I’ve worked multiple jobs in Accounting, Auditing, Compliance, Project Managing, and Business Development. While doing such jobs it built confidence and self-perseverance. My journey has been filled with quite a bit of “No’s”. I had to condition my spirit so it wouldn’t break. It will continue to take self-encouragement, self-motivation, and mental balance. The secret to success is completion and execution is worship. My dedication and determination come from applying all my experience and education to my successes. Today I own a development company, construction company, and consulting firm.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road. Late nights and no sleep for entrepreneurship = Dedication. My challenge, I would say is being patient. I like to prepare, plan, and execute and get to the end goal as safe and quickly as possible.

GAMETIME Construction is a Minority Owned – General Contractor, we specialize in building Colleges, Universities, Sports Arena, to Luxury Condominiums to Luxury homes. I’m most proud of all the time, determination, dedication, and hard work put into it. Just being able to give opportunities as a minority owner is exciting.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
You have to have solutions. There is always going to be a problem. Solutions is to create the way.
