Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadia Galloway.
Nadia Galloway, Chief Executive Dreamer and Founder of PillowSheets, is a lifetime Dreamer and Inventor who holds two United States and Global Patents. With a Master’s Degree in International Business, she is considered “The Business Visionary” who advises entrepreneurs and businesses worldwide while building her own enterprises. As a result, she is also the Co-Founder of Benjamin Preparatory School of Academics & Performing Arts, The Benjamin Ballroom Event Facility, and The Beni Realty Group. Nadia sought to redefine sleeping like a baby and put sleepless nights to rest when she invented PillowSheets –an integrated pillow system built within the fitted sheet of the bed. She essentially played matchmaker and joined the Pillow and the Sheet to create the ultimate dream union. With PillowSheets, Nadia has managed to crack the sleep code for infants to adults alike. Her PillowSheets Suite Dream Collection expands across baby and children, nursery necessities, teens, college students, adults, pregnancy, and healthcare. In her free time, Nadia participates in philanthropic services through Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and Isaac’s Powerhouse, Inc 501, where she serves on the Board of Directors. Nadia’s greatest inspiration comes from being a mother of her two beautiful children Nola Rose & Benjamin Galloway.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The entrepreneurial journey does not have smooth roads. It has roads filled with hills and mountains, terrains and turbulence. Roadblocks, detours, stop signs, warning lights, speed bumps, and just when you feel like you made it to your destination, you may encounter your GPS telling you trouble ahead and you are rerouted. However, the destination of realizing your dreams is the euphoria that one can only imagine. What is a life filled with purpose while making a profit? When work becomes a lifestyle and your dreams become your reality. It’s truly what every inspired visionary seeks.
After all its the American Dream, but as you travel down the entrepreneurial journey, you realize that you started on the journey with three flat tires and a shaky wheel… born to immigrant parents, labeled a minority, being a woman, and managing this game called life while building an empire for my legacy. You soon realize that you started from behind with no fuel injection. Denied access to capital, continuously told no, having to prove yourself over and over again for things that you’ve already earned. The American Dream temporarily turns into a nightmare. It has been everything but smooth, but anything worth having is worth working for. In the entrepreneurial journey, I have fought for everything that I have and rode on the struggle bus. I have friends and family that have stopped riding with me because, ultimately, you can’t take everyone where you are going. When your flying, there’s a weight capacity and deadweight has no room to be on board. I realize that I’m getting close to living the dream that I was given. All American Dreamers should have an opportunity to live out their dreams. I was built for this, and despite not having all the tools, I have been able to build successful businesses leaning on my faith and by surrounding myself with amazing people that have the ability to fill me with inspiration, refilling my tank when I run low and encouraging me to continue living my dreams.

Founder
Benjamin Preparatory School of Academics & Performing Arts is a Christ centered school that I co-founded in 2009. Our mission is to prepare children for the world’s stage… we prepare young minds at birth by utilizing curriculum that develops the right and left brain in tandem to develop the nations most brilliant and brightest children scholars. Our award winning curriculum speaks to all learning styles while incorporating and nurturing our children’s natural talents and abilities.
Our children have ballet, tap, voice, piano, lyrical lessons which culminates in a quarterly production.
In addition to that we develop our children’s gross and fine motor skills through our BPS Sports Academy that exposes our children to sports such as tennis, basketball, football soccer, lacrosse, etc…
We also offer Chess lessons in which we focus our children on the value of strategic thinking… our kids are equipped with life lessons and understand that it’s better to play chess while others may play checkers.
No other Preparatory school does this especially at the age that we do. 6weeks- 1st grade. You know a BPS Graduate when you meet them they are phenomenal, poised leaders that can perform in the classroom and on any stage!

The Benjamin Ballroom of Vinings is a unique venue located in one of Atlanta’s most sought-after suburbs. Our event facility is the perfect event space for intimate gatherings or larger-scaled productions. There are multiple spaces at the facility suitable for life’s most memorable events. Our 4,000-square-foot ballroom features elegant glass chandeliers, a performance stage and a fully-equipped kitchen. This is a venue that will allow you to bring your vision to life …making your event one to remember.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Harmonizing and singing songs that my Grandmother taught us in Jamaica. Songs of praise with my sisters in the back seat of the car while my mother was driving us on road trips. This offered strength and support as my Mother tried to make a way out of no way as a single Mother. Only to find out later, we were her Angels that kept her inspired, driving and motivated through her stormy days.
