Today we’d like to introduce you to Noah Canada.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am 18 years old and an upcoming YouTuber in the metro Atlanta area. I am from Titusville, FL. I moved to the metro Atlanta area when I was nine years old after the death of my father. I have always been into playing sports and just making videos of basically anything and everything. I started making gaming videos when I was in middle school but it was just for fun. Then, I started posting on Instagram a lot doing things like pranks and funny pictures of me and just anything that I thought would be funny. I saw my friend from middle school (Baylen Levine) making videos too so I hit him up and asked him if he wanted to make some videos and so we did and the first video we ever did together was a prank called “Eating Loud In The Library” and it went viral overnight on Instagram the video was mostly focused on Baylen but I had one part where I turned around in the chair and asked him “Are Those Nacho Cheese?” and it was a huge thing and now, I am known as “The Nacho Cheese Kid.” After that video, we just kept making more and more videos and we have been growing like crazy ever since.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Trying to convince my mom that doing Youtube can be a real career and that you can be making a living off of it and that I did not need to go to college to become successful. That was really hard to do because obviously, we are now the new generation and back when my mom was my age there was nothing even close to what I’m doing. At first, she did not get it at all, then I showed her some of the biggest people on YouTube and it was definitely a lot of explaining but I eventually convince her that it could turn into something huge for me.
Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am proud that I can entertain people every day instead of sitting at a desk working for someone else every day.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Being funny and having a REAL personality! Some people on YouTube have some fake little character they put on, but me I wanted to be as real as possible and build a real connection to my supporters to where they can feel like they aren’t just a fan of me but they are my friend! I have always had the ability to lead and not just be a follower. When I was really big into sports and stuff, all my coaches and adults around me would always tell me I had something special with how easily I can influence the people around me, so I use those strengths to become a positive influence on my followers. Most people think I just run around acting crazy all the time but I really want to influence my followers and teach them things I have learned through experience.
