Today we’d like to introduce you to Pia Davis.
A Young, vibrant, beautiful black girl who decided to turn some of her own lessons into blessings! Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Pia resided in Atlanta, GA, to attend Clark Atlanta University to obtain a degree in Business Management. After her first semester, The boss-minded, ambitious, witty, go-getter that she is, Pia decided to enter the adult entertainment life where she began working at the World Famous Magic City in 2013. As she began navigating her way through Atlanta’s fast Life/Fast Lane, she realized her potential at an early age to becoming her own self-made boss. Within the eight years of her exotic dancing, Pia encountered many hurdles and obstacles on her journey. Pia hit a major roadblock in her life in 2016 when she was charged and arrested for a DUI coming home from work one night. This is when her world came to a standstill. Not only was she charged with a DUI but three weeks later, she found out she was pregnant with her first child.
It was time for a lifestyle change forever! As she went through the extensive and expensive DUI process, it was then when she realized her calling! As she was used to be her own boss for the last eight years and with her big entrepreneur spirit, Pia decided to do her own research and create some financial wealth for herself and her new baby girl. She did the proper research and gathered all the necessary materials for success but the business still wouldn’t flourish that soon. Fast forward two years later, after blood, sweat, tears, a new baby, going back to school and even a PANDEMIC, Pia let nothing stop her from obtaining her dream. Although delayed but NOT denied, Pia never lost faith in God’s Promise to her. Her underlying niche and spirit to help others had came through & true when her business finally had it’s grand opening on February 20, 2021! Pia is now the owner and Director of Driving Under Intelligence DUI & Defensive Driving School. Driving Under Intelligence DUI & Defensive Driving School LLC is a newly innovative owned driving school located in the Historic District on the West End of Atlanta, GA, founded in 2019.

Driving Under Intelligence is a black-owned small business striving to be One of the best driving schools not only in the city but within the state as well. Founded by Pia Davis, a graduate of Georgia State University after transferring from Clark Atlanta University in 2015. With a newly obtained Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Young, energetic, and eager to make a difference, Pia decided to open up this driving school in hopes of not only educating those about the dangers of their actions but also being effective at empowering those to do better. Teaching others to embrace their journey, the personal experience and knowledge gained.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely wasn’t a smooth sailing process! But in the end, it was all worth it ! The fast life that I was living as an exotic dancer sometimes keeps you hindered because you are so used to the fast money and fast pace of things so that was one of my major challenges for me. Getting pregnant and becoming a single mom while trying to piece my life back together was also a challenge, – Exhausting my options and assets but not making any capital for two years with this DUI schoool!!

INTEGRITY AND LOYALTY. “Integrity is a character trait that communicates a lot about the values we hold and how we live our lives.” It matters both in our personal lives and in our professional lives. Integrity includes a sense of honesty, dependability, and consistency of character. A person with lots of integrity means what they say, ans they also say what they mean. This is one of the most important traits of a person, especially as a leader. Having integrity means that you live in accordance to your deepest values, you’re honest with everyone, and you always keep your word. This what is very important to me in business and in lifelong relationships. Loyalty is self-explanatory. Loyalty is important as well, too, because it’s always a constant reminder of my priorities in life. It helps prioritize the people who put you first, so you do the same for them. With anything in life, whether personal or business, loyalty increases performance and appreciation.
