Meet Rob Monford of Cartersville Ga

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rob Monford.

Hi Rob, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Rob Monford is an aspiring actor and creative talent whose passion for the entertainment industry began in 2011 after attending a casting audition for a Coca-Cola commercial. After impressing casting directors and earning a callback, Rob advanced to the final stages of the project, where he was introduced to the professional side of the film industry and learned about SAG, the Screen Actors Guild. Although he did not land the role due to not yet being a SAG member, the experience sparked a deep appreciation and love for acting and filmmaking. Since then, Rob has continued to embrace the entertainment world as one of his true passions, inspired by determination, growth, and the pursuit of opportunity.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not always been a smooth road for me. When I first started in the entertainment industry, I did a lot of background work, which helped me gain experience and become comfortable on set. I was also fortunate enough to receive many auditions and opportunities along the way. I felt confident in a lot of my auditions, but one of my biggest struggles has been cold reading. Walking into auditions and having to quickly read and perform material on the spot was challenging for me, and it’s something I have continued to work on over the years. Even with those challenges, I’ve stayed determined and committed to improving my craft. Overall, the journey has taught me patience, growth, and perseverance

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Right now, I work part-time at a car auction to help keep a steady income coming in because acting opportunities can sometimes be unpredictable. Even though I may not always have major gigs lined up, I still stay active in the entertainment industry by working on independent films and occasionally doing background work. Most of the time, I focus on stand-in work and featured stand-in roles on set, which has allowed me to continue learning and growing within the industry. Outside of acting, I also drive for a limousine company called Executive Auto Luxury, which helps me stay busy and take care of responsibilities when I’m not on set. What truly sets me apart from many other actors is my determination and willingness to keep pushing forward, no matter the challenges. I understand the grind that comes with pursuing a dream, and I continue to stay dedicated to my passion for acting. I also enjoy stage plays, although they require a different level of preparation, discipline, and rehearsal. At the end of the day, acting remains my true passion and something I continue striving toward every chance I get.

How do you define success?
I define success as continuing to pursue my passion no matter the obstacles or setbacks along the way. Success to me is not just about fame or recognition, but about growth, consistency, and staying dedicated to my craft. From working background roles and independent films to balancing everyday jobs while still chasing my dream, I’ve learned that success comes from perseverance, hard work, and never giving up on what truly inspires you. Being able to keep doing what I love, continue improving as an actor, and inspire others through my journey is what success truly means to me
