Anthony Shannell Jr or Known as Roy’al Santana is an American Singer, Record producer, Rapper, Dancer, Director, Model, and pioneer. He writes His owns songs, Directs the Short films as well as writes his own films and directs them.His creative mind is unmatched. When he dances he is lost in a trans, he creates from his soul. Who are some of your inspirations as far as artist, musicians, leaders and people in general?
There are so many that I admire so I’ll just name the main ones. There’s Leonardo DiCaprio, Denzel Washington, Will smith, Jamie foxx, Richard Pryor, Michael Jackson, Prince, James brown, Bobby brown, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Whitney Huston, Beyoncé, James dean, Cold play, Russ, Walt Disney, Tyler Perry, Queen,Steven Tyler and many more. As far as leaders I admire Martin Luther king jr, Jesus, Gandhi, My grandmother, Native Americans JFK, Abraham Lincoln, Obama, Elon musk, Roosevelt and many more Leaders that focus more on their path rather the negative people and problems they were faced with.
How do you come up with a song?
Songs just come. It could be anytime of the day or night. Sometimes when I’m sleeping I dream of so many ideas and I normally jump up and write them down or sing it in a recorder
When will you be releasing your next project?
My next project is Being release this summer 21’ and I’m so proud of this project. I feel like this is the best work thus far. The music video/Short film is amazing. We just upgraded all the studio equipment so the vocals sound amazingly clean and the quality is amazing I can’t wait to put it out and see how it will be received.
What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music or see your work?
I want my music to evoke emotion in a person with whatever vibe the song is portraying. I want people to be inspired by my music and for it to be like ear medicine to the listener. I also want my music to make people happy and to make them dance.
What motivates and inspires you?
I am motivated by life and I wanna be loved everywhere I go.
