Hi Sharonda, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
As I got more involved in Atlanta’s food, fashion, nightlife, and African spots scene, I realized there wasn’t enough content showing people where to actually go and what experiences were truly worth it — so I started creating that content myself.
What began as casual videos quickly turned into a growing community of people who now look to my pages for Atlanta recommendations, events, hidden gems, fashion, restaurants, and lifestyle inspiration. Through my TikTok @sharchii and Instagram pages @sharchii and @atlwithsharchii, I showcase different sides of my world while helping people discover experiences across the city.
Today, I’m an Atlanta-based fashion and lifestyle content creator with over 5,000 TikTok followers, 355K+ likes, and videos reaching over 300K views. I’ve built a community that trusts my recommendations and actively engages with my content, and I’m continuing to grow through partnerships with brands, restaurants, festivals, and events that connect people to experiences they’ll never forget.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. One of the biggest challenges was growing consistently while balancing school, work, and content creation at the same time. Content creation can look effortless online, but there’s a lot that goes into filming, editing, staying creative, and showing up consistently even when videos don’t perform the way you hoped.
Another challenge was building confidence in my niche and finding my voice as a creator. I create content around Atlanta lifestyle, fashion, nightlife, and African spots, and at first I wasn’t know how people would respond. Over time, I realized that being authentic and creating relatable content was what helped me stand out and build a loyal community.

Through my TikTok @sharchii and Instagram pages @sharchii and @atlwithsharchii, I create relatable and engaging content that helps people discover where to go, what to do, and what experiences are actually worth it in Atlanta.
I’m known for creating authentic content that feels personal and approachable rather than overly curated. Whether I’m showcasing hidden gems, covering events, highlighting African restaurants and spaces, or sharing fashion and lifestyle content, my goal is always to make people feel connected to the city and excited to explore it for themselves.
One thing I’m most proud of is building a loyal and engaged community from something that started as casual videos. I’ve grown to over 5,000 TikTok followers, 355K+ likes, and videos reaching over 300K views while balancing school, work, and content creation. Seeing people trust my recommendations, attend events because of my content, or discover new places through my videos is incredibly rewarding.
What sets me apart is my ability to blend multiple parts of Atlanta culture into my content in a way that feels genuine and relatable. I don’t just focus on one side of the city — I highlight fashion, nightlife, food, African spots, social experiences, and hidden gems while creating content that feels like a facetime call.

What’s next?
My biggest goal is to grow my platform into the go-to resource for Atlanta lifestyle, events, and culture. I want to be the creator people think of first when they’re looking for what to do, where to go, and what to wear in Atlanta and beyond.
In the near future I’m focused on securing more brand partnerships and collaborations with festivals and major events — both locally and across the Southeast. I’d love to cover events like Essence Festival, Afropunk, and Music Midtown as a credible content partner, bringing my audience along for the experience.
Long term, I want to expand my content into travel, documenting my fashion and lifestyle experiences beyond Atlanta while still staying rooted in the city I love. I’m also working toward building out a full media kit and rate sheet to establish myself as a professional creator who brands can invest in confidently.
Overall I’m just getting started — I see this growing into something much bigger, and I’m excited for what’s coming!
