Meet Vvs

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vvs. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Started in CHICAGO, Illinois moved to Atlanta 2015. Rebranded in 2020.

VVS apparel company began one day while the owner, known as VVS, sat in his room on the south side of Chicago in complete darkness. While sitting, he thought what is one thing that shines regardless and comes from the soil? He said DIAMONDS but not any Diamond a VVS Diamond. He then coined the Brand Vvs (Very Very Special). The owner thought that people deserved to not only wear something that meant more than just another clothing brand but something that would ensure people of what and who they were and serve as a protective type of wear with a purpose. The purpose being to make sure everyone no matter gender or shape or race would know that they are truly very very special, vvs like the Diamond.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Other challenges have been the balance of being an entrepreneur and having a good heart. Sometimes you have to find a creative way to get people to see the brand is about them and not me ( vvs ). My purpose on earth is to make sure one’s know that they are truly very, very special just as the designs are and apparel style is.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a visionary whatever I start, I have to finish. I come from a very diverse background and sometimes it can seem as if everything happens overnight but it usually took me long hours endless days and nights to make this brand happen. The other is that I am persistent and perseverance through many obstacles and challenges so being a visionary is great but without work there is no progress.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us? Yes, communication and community is important. The crises has brought so many different people our way and so many resources that we’ have been able to take advantage of during these challenging times. One thing for sure is I believe you must believe when nobody else does and sure enough if you believe people will gain your send of integrity and passion and respect whatever you do.
