Rising Stars: Meet Antoine Morgan of Atlanta Georgia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Antoine Morgan.

Hi Antoine, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I actually started as an athlete I eventually gained a passion for the Film industry in 2016, my first film created by myself was “not my favorite Christmas” starring former WNBA basketball player Renèe Montgomery. I then went on to create many others eventually becoming an award-winning filmmaker and also having a number one hit reality show entitled, commit or quit by judge Lynn Toler.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely not been a smooth road by far, you can put your all into a film, go to film festivals and win nothing, you can meet industry people that can help you but they won’t because you’re not in a specific circle. So in this industry, you have to learn how to grind and not take everything personal.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am most known for my award-winning films, such as “the maid player” “the sounds of insanity” and the hit reality show “commit or quit”. The owner of the successful Film Production company Brother Films. I’m proud of all my accomplishments in the film industry. What set me apart from the others on most of my film sets, I’ve done worn all hats by playing the lead role, actor, producer, director, cinema-photographer, and set designer. Like Eddie Murphy said that’s a job that he would never do again.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Trust first instinct, invest into yourself and don’t take it personal when things don’t go your way.
