Rising Stars: Meet Cozy Jaa of New York

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cozy Jaa.

Hi Cozy, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Cozy Jaa, I am the Founder of Cozy Family. I was born and raised in New London, CT and I am now based out of New York City. I grew up in a family of 8. I have ADHD, which I love about me because it helps me creativity and it got Cozy Family to where it is at today. I started as a photographer who loves capturing nature and sentimental moments and now I’m a brand owner and creator!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, which I’m grateful for because running a brand is not easy. To this day I still struggle in some areas, or might hit a pothole, but I look at it as a learning lesson and a moment to gain knowledge. I believe if you have a smooth road, you wouldn’t know what to do when you run into a road block or those bumps in the road.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am the Founder of Cozy Family. Our focus is bringing together creators from all fields- Podcast, Live streaming, Lifestyle content, Photography, Modeling, Fashion & Art. We also manage creators and offer in house brand partnerships. It started with me covering all of those topics myself and I thought, what if I turn it into an actual brand for other creators and here we are today. Under the Cozy Family umbrella, we have ‘My Cozy Conversations Podcast’, ASCEND MAGAZINE(Online Publication), and ‘Another Cozy Story’ which is our short film division.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
Cozy Family will ALWAYS be opened to collaborations and we’re always willing to support other creators and brands. The idea of Cozy Family is creating a comfortable atmosphere and environment. For example, if another creator/brand wants to do a podcast episode under ‘My Cozy Convos’ we would gladly have them as a host! There’s no “face” or “one man show” when it comes to anything under our umbrella. Any and everyone can be the “face”. Yes, we are open to collaborations, we are down to support, and/or help creators/brands with any advice, tips or motivation!
