My journey into entrepreneurship began with a genuine passion for beauty, creativity, and helping others feel their best. In 2009, I transformed that passion into a business, establishing what would become Posh Nail Boutique.

Over the past 15 years, I have developed my brand into a private and mobile luxury nail service. My professional path has taken me from Pittsburgh to Atlanta, where I expanded my business and continued to grow as an entrepreneur. Despite this growth, I have remained closely connected to my roots, traveling back to Pittsburgh regularly to maintain relationships with long-standing clients who have supported me since the beginning.

The journey has not been without its challenges. I have encountered burnout, financial difficulties, and periods that required rebuilding and refocusing. During these times, I relied on faith, resilience, and discipline to persevere. These experiences did not hinder my progress; rather, they strengthened my character and refined my approach. They taught me the importance of intentionality and building a business that aligns with my values.

As I have evolved, so too has my vision. My appreciation for aesthetics has always extended beyond beauty, which inspired me to create Polished Pads by Posh—an extension of my brand centered on organization and elevated living. Whether I am providing nail services or transforming a living space, my objective remains consistent: to help individuals feel polished, confident, and at ease.

Today, I continue to grow, learn, and build with purpose. For me, entrepreneurship represents more than success; it embodies freedom, legacy, and the creation of a life defined by strength and intention.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road at all — and honestly, I don’t think real entrepreneurship ever is.

I’ve faced financial highs and lows, burnout, and moments where I had to rebuild from the ground up with very little certainty. There were times I felt stretched thin trying to balance clients, travel, growth, and simply taking care of myself. I’ve had to make tough decisions, learn hard lessons about boundaries, and figure things out without a blueprint.

One of the biggest challenges was shifting from just working hard to working with intention — understanding my value, pricing accordingly, and protecting my time and energy. That didn’t happen overnight. It came through experience, mistakes, and growth.

But those challenges shaped me. They built my resilience, strengthened my discipline, and forced me to evolve not just as a business owner, but as a woman. Every setback refined my vision and pushed me closer to alignment with the life I truly want.

It wasn’t a smooth road — it was a refining process.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is faith, meaningful relationships, and creating a life that feels authentic to who I am. As an entrepreneur, it’s easy to get caught up in chasing goals, but I’ve learned that success means very little if you don’t have peace, purpose, and people you genuinely care about to share it with.

My relationships matter deeply to me—my family, my friendships, and the clients who have supported me throughout the years. Many of my clients have become like extended family, and I don’t take that trust for granted. Being part of someone’s wedding, celebration, self-care routine, or even helping them feel better during a difficult season is something I consider a privilege.

I also value growth and resilience. Life and business have both challenged me in ways I never expected, but those experiences have taught me to keep evolving, trust myself, and continue moving forward even when things aren’t perfect.

Most of all, I want the work I do to make a difference. Whether I’m providing a luxury nail service, helping transform a space through Polished Pads by Posh, or simply showing up for someone who needs encouragement, I want people to feel better after interacting with me than they did before.
