Rising Stars: Meet Yasmeen Kearra of Atlanta GA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yasmeen Kearra.

Hi Yasmeen Kearra , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started off modeling and took some time off. In the midst of that hiatus I found my love again for moving my body through stretching.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not always smooth. I honestly feel like I thrived in Florida with modeling then I moved to Atlanta & it was a different ball game. A lot of work but for little to no pay. I refused to work for free especially when I was fully responsible for all of my bills.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’ve worn/wear many hats. Modeling, dancing, flexibility coach and now a mom. I feel like I’m mostly known for my modeling though. I’ve been in a few music videos and have had some amazing photos go viral and land me campaigns. I’m honestly just mostly proud of everything I’ve done despite the doubt at times. I’m just proud that I had the guts to follow my dreams.

What does success mean to you?
Not giving up. Even if you “fail” at least you tried and can have a fair understanding on if something is for you or not for you.
