Today we’d like to introduce you to Zicky Dice.
Hi Zicky, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My life has been quite an outlandish journey to get to every moment. For as long as I could remember, all I could think about was becoming an entertainer. Ask my family. They will tell you that they thought it was just a phase. But here we are, taking over the world. I grew up in a wrestling household. It was professional wrestling that got me into freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling at the age of five. I wrestled from 5 to 15. Winning national championships along the way. I quit after my sophomore year in high school when my father died in a drunk driving car accident. It changed me. I hated everything about life. I hated wrestling. I hated smiling. It was there I found music. I started a band. That led to another band, then stealing members from another band to put together another band. That band was called “Heart to Heart.” We took HTH from Mom’s garage to the big stage.
We probably could of been a lot bigger to be honest with you. That’s if my band had pulled their weight. It was on our last tour in Nashville, Tennessee is that a good buddy of mine pulled me aside after the show and gave me some life-changing advice. He said, “I think you need to become a professional wrestler. I think you were made for that business.” I took his advice. I sent Seth Rollins a text message and said, “I want you to train me”. He said, “Ha ha ha ha are you serious?” My reply back was, “I’m going to be better than you are one day.” I finished that tour, packed my bags, and moved to the Midwest to train at the Black & Brave Wrestling Academy. Never looked back since. I knew going in that I was going to give this everything I have. Six years later, I am right now one of the hottest free agents in all of professional wrestling. I can proudly say no one is doing what Outlandish Zicky Dice is doing. Don’t believe me? Google me.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Ha! Smooth road? I wish. Let’s talk about everything I’ve lost in this journey, shall we? How about missed weddings, missed birthdays, missed funerals, lost relationships, shall I go on? I have sacrificed almost everything to get where I am right now and I am still not satisfied. I am the hungry is that I have ever been. I sit and watch my peers get contracts left and right, wondering when my time is? When will I get the phone call I’ve been waiting for? It’s a mental war. I wouldn’t wish this hell on anybody.
All I can do is stay focused and make sure to work harder than everybody else. I make sure to stand out by any means necessary. One day, this will all make sense. Until then, I must continue to bust my ass and build the brand. I refuse to fail. Nothing makes me happier in life. I am an emotional salesmen. I sell emotion. It’s what I do best. I have had some very dark days in my past. I struggle with depression, ptsd, and anxiety. Entertaining people is the only thing that makes me feel alive.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am the Swiss Army knife of entertainment. I am a musician, magician, professional wrestler, and full-time content creator with over two million views on my Twitch channel. My production is top-notch! And to think that I have done this all DIY. Imagine what I could do if I found someone that believed in Outlandish Zicky Dice as much as I believe in Outlandish Zicky Dice??? It would be elite.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I have to thank my trainers Seth Rollins, Marek Brave, and Krotch, for always being there for me. I must thank Scooch for his magic behind the camera and for helping push Zicky Dice to the next level. I must thank Robert Peak & Dylan Frymyer for believing in me and helping me reach my full potential. My family for allowing me to chase my dream and giving me my full support. And you, for keeping me motivated.
