We’re looking forward to introducing you to Ced Wynez. Check out our conversation below.
Ced, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
What’s important to me is integrity. You can’t fall for anything these days. You have to stand firm on your feet. This is the era of manipulation. And you have to be strong in your morals, your character and principles.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello my name is Ced Wynez. I am a husband, father, artist, songwriter, composer and producer in the music industry. I am the owner and founder of the beat brand “Beats By Ced”. The brand was created in 2015. We are the premiere beat brand located in the Atlanta, Ga market. We specialize in beat production, media production, media content creation and marketing. What makes us interesting is not only we provide beat instrumental products to the music industry we also provide services to other industries that needs exclusive music for companies and brands. And we help our clients with their content creation to market their products to their customers. Right now we continue to work with our clients and provide services to the Atlanta market.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
This is an interesting and good question. It’s a few relationships. But it’s one that really shaped me how I see myself. The one is the relationship with my grandmother. My grandmother and I don’t have a good relationship at all. Over the years our relationship became more and more distant. My mother passed away when I was 12. So my brother and I had to go stay with my grandmother. Over the years I learned that I had to pour into myself. Nobody wasn’t going to pour into me. Not even my grandmother. That relationship shaped me to rely more on myself. Don’t listen to negativity. It shaped me to be a better person overall. Because she wasn’t a good person to look up too unfortunately. So it definitely shaped me to be self conscious who have around me. It shaped me not to be negative, always have a positive attitude towards life. Even when life isn’t going your way.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering really taught me it’s only temporary. Pain and suffering is only here to teach you something. And it doesn’t last long. I learn you have to GO THROUGH hell in order to overcome it. Suffering taught me accountability. Most of the time the reason why we suffer is due to our own decisions. We literally make poor decisions and then we suffer the consequences of said decisions.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
Oh man the biggest lie in my industry which is the music and entertainment industry is there’s no money to be made in the industry. This is the biggest lie that’s being told in the music industry. It’s too many examples of artists, producers, label owners etc that’s making a good living off their music. I’ve met so many record label owners some people never heard of who’s making money in the industry. The music industry generated 17.7 billion dollars in revenue in 2024. Now, would you look at that lol.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
I deeply understand and believe we are the miracle and the blessing GOD has created. God has given us the power, the knowledge and wisdom to accomplish anything we set our minds too. As humans we have done it already. People go to church, the mosque and pray to God for blessings or a miracle. People don’t understand that YOU ARE THE BLESSING AND MIRACLE GOD HAS CREATED. God just wants you to take care of the things you can control. And good will take care of the rest.
