Let’s jump in: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Yes , I’ve been really proud of my new business i started this summer , ShawRide Inc . It’s a private rental company, it’s all on platforms like Turo . I’ve been really excited with the business and the customers it’s brought .
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Devin Shaw , I’m a young black entrepreneur that wants to make a name for himself on this planet . I used to have a clothing brand i started in high school & afterwords . I eventually ventured out from the fashion side and indulged into the private rental side . It’s been a rough few months as well though , i recently lost my mother in August . So things have definitely been a challenge for me . I hope to make her proud and keep growing myself & the business.

My family and friends of course , i always knew I’d be somebody in this world and honestly i won’t stop til i am .
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes plenty of times , many trials and tribulations. But i know god has me forever no matter the outcome of anything.

Staying true to yourself no matter who judges you or talks down on you . You should feel comfortable in your skin no matter what .
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Stop caring so much sometimes about how other people view me . I use to like pleasing people a lot, but i realized some people won’t like you no matter what you do or say . Just be a good human being and good things will happen to you .
