LadyLee, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Energy. Intelligence and Integrity is something you’ll learn about a person after interacting with them, while energy is the immediate feeling you get from someone without the exchange of anything. It’s the most powerful thing to ‘exist’, it cannot be created nor destroyed.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Waddup my loves, Its LadyLee and I create dope art for a living. Shoutout to the people who’ve followed/ been apart of my journey all this way and shoutout to all the new supporters! I took a year off from dropping music and feeding social media, but I couldn’t stay away forever.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
The gag is, the world can share its wants and desires, but the world cant tell me nothing. Who I was then, is exactly who I am today. Of course all along you’re working on yourself to become the best version, but listening to the world actually slows down that process, if not completely get in the way of it.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Be happy within, be happy by yourself, and most importantly, be happy for yourself. It also teaches you appreciation and patience. Theres really nothing to chase, we have it all. Perspective is everything.
