We recently had the chance to connect with Latoya Walthour and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Latoya, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day is work, the grand kids and my daughter appointments and my mom errands

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a mother of one daughter and grand mother of two. Last three years been rough my first grand daughter was born my baby sister birthday July 16 2023 and died of my oldest sister August 4 2023. Then hurricane came destroyed my house and stufff. The next year hurricane destroyed my car and this year I lost my job so I decided to put daycare business on hold and start a cleaning businesss and modeling training class next is a mentoring young kids and teens once a month meet ups. It’s hard being able to get grants to help. The realist troups cleaning and more and the realist troups modeling training. My brand will be coming soon as well the realist brand.
I’m a 44 year old model, beginning artist and actor as well. First movie Trapped movie premier in November 7 Valdosta November 8 Atlanta. I have New music set to come soon called you know nuttin bout me as well. I’m a mother,grandmother and daughter who live in Valdosta Georgia. I play drums in my church where my father the pastor bishop Leon walthour. I love playing drums and being an umpire for softball and baseball as extra jobs . I’m also very active in youth life In my city.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
Being a professional basketball player player and when people say life is easy they lied

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
When I went to jail and when my grand daughter died

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My daughter grand girls and my parents, sisters ,brothers ,nephew and neices

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
