We recently had the chance to connect with Roshawnda Williams ( Queen Ro ) and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Roshawnda, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I’m currently being called to perform in plays, tv shows and movies. Also to transform into a creative director for arts and to play my guitar more. I find myself seeking auditions more and more. I have always had an interest in performing arts but I hate being the center of attention. So now that I find myself writing more and gaining more confidence to perform my art, I’m noticing that I’m being aligned with my purpose. Entertainment/media is my lane and I’m super excited to see how this new chapter of my life turns out!! I’m ready to see the GREATNESS!!!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Good day Kings & Queens!! I’m Roshawnda Williams aka Queen Ro. I am an entertainer, content creator and entrepreneur.

As an entertainer I perform my poetry at open mics & spoken word events. I am apart of a production company called K I Masterpiece, where we perform masterpieces inspired by the kingdom of God. I am the stage manager, an actress and I get to showcase my talent in poetry as well.

I host a podcast called Free Your Journey, which is a podcast dedicated to healing your past trauma and experiences through healing your heart with the help of God. On Free Your Journey, I teach how to be whole mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually! I also teach how to overcome inner child issues, family drama, relationship issues, narcissistic tendencies, people pleasing, manipulation and insecurities. I help men and women become their best self by showing them how to treat themselves with self love and respect. I show them how to pursue their dreams with confidence. We are learning how to become better for the next generation by overcoming generational patterns and curses. We are breaking down barriers to revive love and receive greatness.

Each month I host an event for healing. My hikes are called Reflection and Gratitude, where we share our thoughts and feelings with each other through love and compassion. We allow God to show in up a supernatural way to help us heal and overcome the problems we are facing in those moments. Since I help heal inner child issues, I like to host events that will inspire others to become more childlike by sharing things I liked to do as child. Tea parties was on of my favorite pastimes, so I host tea parties and brunches often.

As a content creator I make content to go along with my podcast as well as showcase my acting/directing/writing skills. I am currently working on a new series I hope to release in 2026 featuring issues that we face day to day. I hope to share inspiration to help us grow and improve our communities. My goal is to introduce new ways of healing got the areas we keep hidden.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Miscommunication and lack of trust breaks the bond between people. We have to learn to trust each other and not let what we feel dictate what happens in the relationships. Emotions are temporary and we should not allow them lead in relationships. We should always discuss how we feel and not jump to conclusions on things.

Grace and understanding are essential for growing and improving relationships. We have to give one another grace to be themselves and give yourself grace for being able to share your life with others. We are all uniquely made and we should learn to value each other’s lives and love one another as we love ourselves.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear of pleasing people has held me back. Validation of others has always been an issue for me. I would constantly overthink about how others perceive me and how they feel about me. Caring about those things kept me at bay and stopped me from seeking what I wanted for myself. I would always worry if someone would not like what I was doing and care about what they would say about me. Now I don’t care because we are not called to please man. I am here to do what’s best for me and my journey!!

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, what you see is what you get!! I am naturally a caring person with a big heart who loves to have fun!! I am a down to earth person who loves God. I used to hide my relationship with God because of judgement but now I don’t care how people view me. I want others to know you can love God and have personality. You can still be happy and enjoy life without excluding yourself from God.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
She was a genuine authentic woman who loved her family and friends. She was a hardworking person who cared for people and was always willing to help others. She valued God and saw the world through his eyes. She was dedicated to the right path no matter the cost. She knew she was going to be successful in this life. She was resilient and determined to make sure her dreams were fulfilled. No matter what life threw her way she would never give up on her dreams for her life.
