We’re looking forward to introducing you to Tyler Smith. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Tyler, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Integrity is the most important to me. Intelligence and energy are valuable—they help you solve problems and get things done—but without integrity, those gifts can be misused or wasted. Integrity shapes character, builds trust, and ensures that everything you accomplish is done the right way. In the long run, it’s integrity that sustains relationships, leadership, and legacy.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Absolutely! I’m Jamieson Tyler Smith, and I run The Jamieson Agency (thejamiesonagency.com), where we specialize in helping brands, entrepreneurs, and businesses craft powerful stories and marketing strategies that truly connect. What makes us unique is that we don’t just execute campaigns—we dig deep into the why behind each brand, blending strategy, creativity, and authenticity to help our clients stand out in a crowded market.
Every project is personal to us, and we’re passionate about helping brands tell their story in a way that resonates, builds trust, and drives growth. Right now, we’re focused on expanding digital marketing solutions for small businesses and creatives, creating content that not only looks amazing but actually delivers results. At our core, we’re storytellers, strategists, and problem-solvers—helping people turn their vision into something tangible, memorable, and impactful.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
The person who saw me clearly before I could see myself was my aunt, Debra Moore (@mrssoutheastusa2026). She has this incredible ability to recognize potential and strength in people—even when we doubt ourselves. Long before I fully understood my own gifts or purpose, she encouraged me, believed in me, and held me accountable in the most loving way. Her guidance and faith in me helped me step into opportunities I didn’t even know I was ready for, and I’m forever grateful for her clarity, wisdom, and unwavering support.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, it would be: “Trust yourself, embrace every moment, and don’t worry so much about the future. Life unfolds in ways you can’t imagine, and the beauty is in being fully present for each step along the way. Confidence isn’t about knowing everything—it’s about believing in yourself and leaning into every experience with courage and joy.”
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what really matters to me is treating people the way I would want to be treated—with kindness, fairness, and the utmost respect. I believe every interaction is an opportunity to uplift someone, and showing respect and consideration isn’t just about manners—it’s about valuing people and honoring their worth.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you laid down your name, role, and possessions—what would remain?
If I laid down my name, role, and possessions, what would remain are the things that truly define me: my family, my faith, and my outgoing personality. Those are the core of who I am—my love for the people closest to me, my belief in something greater than myself, and the joy and energy I bring to every room. Everything else is temporary, but these are the pieces of me that endure.
