Meet Tyrone Spaulding of Golfing For Success in McDonough

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyrone Spaulding.

The Golfing for Success Training, Inc. curriculum is based on thirty years of research, study, and experience in teaching and participant learning. Recently, Tyrone Spaulding (president and founder) research project based in applying the psychological principles of cognitive learning to the execution of the golf swing. This project, now a proposal for a golf and educational development curriculum is continually being field tested resulting in participants experiencing amazing results with accelerated learning and improvement in their Golfing for Success skills. Golfing for Success is a proposal that introduces a new perspective-a new approach to teaching and learning- by applying the psychological principles of cognitive learning to the physical execution of the golf swing.

This proposed curriculum program is based on the fact that golf is a voluntary sport and participants-golfers require structured conceptual learning as a means for athletic physical learning, training, and performance in the game of golf. Golfing for Success, Inc. will serve as a unique and effective teaching-learning curriculum for representing the future in how golf is taught and learned to at risk youth.

In addition to knowing the game of golf, these participants require a working knowledge of marketing, sales, finance, and general business. Golfing for Success, Inc. has a balanced curriculum which provides opportunities to develop both game skills and business skills which apply directly to golf and educational development in the golf industry.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Since 2013 the program has been developed at a slow pace to establish business relationships that allowed the program to teach golf concepts at different golf facilities.

This was really needed for the program to progress and introduce our golf and mentoring concepts to youth and adult clients. At first it was slow and then the success of our clients was spreading throughout the area and more youth and adults began to seek our services.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Golfing For Success, Inc. – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Our Mission at “GOLFING FOR SUCCESS, INC.” is to involve children and their families with a program which teaches fundamental Golf, Academic and Social skills that will provide them with recreational, physical and fundamental activities to help develop progressive family values. Giving participants an opportunity to experience creative methods of accumulating awareness of a health and wellness lifestyle that will enhance the mind, body and spirit. Therefore, providing positive youth development, mentorship and adult skill training to establish success in the area of golf, health and life.

What we are most proud of is the progress of our clients and seeing them become more knowledgeable of the game of golf. Also, developing and preparing our youth for youth Golf Tournaments and collegiate golf programs are our proudest accomplishments.

We are also proud of the clients that have received Full Golf Scholarships the past two years. Other than my daughter that graduated in 2016 from Columbia College on a golf scholarship, we completed our recruitment process last year and help Kameron Wyatt of Martin Luther King Jr high school receive a golf scholarship to Pariae View A&M University. This year through our recruitment process we have helped a senior golfer from Henry County High School receive a golf scholarship to Brewton Parker College in Mt. Veron,Ga.

What set us apart from other programs is that we meet our clients where they are and develop them to reach success through our planned curriculum. Also, we expose our clients to the highest level of golf and help them develop positive life skills.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We have been in operation since 2013 and now in 2017 we are currently in the phase of seeking funding to create a budget for expansion of our program, a Golf and Educational program for minority youth and adults. As a Non-profit program, we can benefit from investors that need to invest in something to reduce their taxes and to become involved in a program that will help minority youth succeed in life. Our website will continue to be up-dated so investors can see how we are developing youth golfers and making lives better for both kids and their families.
