Meet Trailblazer Sara Justice

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sara Justice.

Sara, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have been involved in the beauty industry for over 20 years. My life long love for art always seemed to gravitate toward the face. And more specifically making the face beautiful. Along the way, I got introduced to cosmetic tattooing and fell in love! I was amazed at what now can be done. Art on the skin! A lot had changed in the previous five years so I’ve spent the last decade mastering this wonderful art.

Traveling to Eastern European countries where they are leading the way in the cosmetic tattoo industry. I continue to go there and other places around the world several times a year to master classes so I can learn from the very best and help develop the latest techniques and bring them back to Atlanta.

Has it been a smooth road?
Nothing worth doing will come easy. A phrase as old as time that still rings true to this day. I choose to not look at the ” struggles ” as such. They are experiences. Experiences I grow from. I believe persistence is the cornerstone of continued success.

What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of? What sets you apart from others?
I change people’s life. Period. This is about making people feel beautiful. Inside and out. When a client comes to me with over-plucked brows that no longer shape her face or hyperpigmented, unsymmetrical lips and I’m able to use art, pigment and color to restore her youthful appearance, that’s life-changing. I specialize in artistic beauty and color theory. I do not just tattoo. I use precise measurements to shape and frame the face so that balance is bought upon through artistic expression. Using one’s bone structure to highlight their beauty.

What’s the most important piece of advice you could give to a young woman just starting her career?
Do not stop! There will be naysayers and haters. Stay true to yourself and your passions.
