Today we’d like to introduce you to Bianca Davis.

Bianca, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’ve was born and raised in NYC and NC. I’ve always loved hair as long as I can remember. I would use my dad’s shaving cream as relaxer, food coloring for color, and my school scissors to cut my dolls hair. I love everything about it and what it could be. I’ve been a stylist since I was five years old. I moved to Atlanta in 2008 and obtained my cosmetology license in 2010. When I finished school I was overwhelmed with knowledge and still unsure about my future, so I went back to college and obtained my degree in psychology. After college, my first love was still there, hair! I worked at a few salons to get some experience and to figure out what I wanted and what I didn’t want out of the beauty industry. Then in 2014 I opened my hair salon “Naturally You Hair Salon”, and I am still open and growing.

Has it been a smooth road?
My journey was not smooth at all, however, I dusted myself off whenever I fell and got back up and tried again. I would say my greatest challenge was being unsure of what I really wanted for my future and staying consistent.

How would you describe the type of kid you were growing up?
I was the leader of the group everyone looked at me for the answers and as an Allie

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Spending the summers in North Carolina with my sisters

What are your plans for the future?
I am looking forward to being a multiple business owner and millionaire
