Today we’d like to introduce you to Crystal Hudson.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My story is simple. I’m an everyday mom who loves fashion, beauty and adding a little fabulosity to everything I do. I started my blog because I wanted to speak to and inspire women just like me: those who are trying to balance motherhood, careers, love, and self-care. On my page, I share everything from fashion finds, makeup trends, hair tutorials, and the hilarious chronicles of being a toddler mom. Genuine interaction with my supporters who have become like a family has helped me to grow my following. Though in perspective, I have a long way to go, I’m happy to see how far I’ve come.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey of blogging has been a great one. When I truly committed to it, I began to see growth and success in the efforts I put in. My advice to those starting out is to keep at it! Don’t let life’s burdens stop you from pursuing what it is you love. Stay consistent. The more you’re seen, the more people get to know you and WANT to know what you’re all about. Lastly, be authentically YOU. There is no set formula for being a successful blogger/vlogger/influencer. Do what you love, in the way that works for you. Never be driven by success, but always by passion.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am a fashion/beauty/motherhood blogger. My first love is definitely fashion, but with time, I have shifted more into a mix of the three. My brand represents living the life that you desire. I’m most proud of being authentic. Sometimes, bloggers can seem unreachable or they appear to have a “fairytale” life. I’m not afraid to post my struggles, my failures, my fears. I’m not afraid to be real, even if it doesn’t draw the crowd.

Which women have inspired you in your life?
My mother is my biggest inspiration. She represents sacrifice, determination, class, and strength. In addition to my mother, I’m inspired by the late Aaliyah. Everyone that spoke of her mentions her kindness and realness. That’s what I strive for each day. Lastly, I’m inspired by everyday women who have the superpowers to get up and grind each day, and still take care of themselves and their families with smiles on their faces. Women are truly amazing.
