Meet Kristopher Shelby of ShelbyStylingCo in Buckhead

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristopher Shelby.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Coming from a New Orleans it was only right I get into some type of creative career due to the fact that the city is known for eclectic art scene so growing up I was always surrounded by art, fashion, music, etc so the creative juices always flowed they my soul but it only took me to move to Atlanta in 2013 to pursue a career as a stylist. I remember meeting Tyler Perry for the first time in 2014 when I worked for Ralph Lauren and him saying you have a really cool style you dress others how you dress, me I took that and ran with it. I started working some of hip hops biggest mega stars like Young Jeezy, The Migos, Yung Joc, Fetty Wop, etc and just a few I’ve been able show my creativity thru. Currently, I’ve been working with hip hop young super star YFN Lucci and it’s been a beautiful ride. Can’t wait for you guys to see what we have cooking up, movies, commercials, the world. Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road has been very bumpy, some ups some downs but I always keep my eyes on the prize and knowing that my lord and savior has the best for me, and also it helps having the support from my family and friends.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about ShelbyStylingCo – what should we know?
So I run a Switzerland based Boutique Called Attomshop right here in Atlanta’s Shops Of Buckhead. We’ve brought a new Flavor and shopping experience to Atlanta. From the product, we carry to some of our exquisite fashion events to some of the biggest names in the music and movie industry that shop here on a daily bases.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My Mom deserves all the credit because if it wasn’t for her saying kris, you can do it son just keep pushing and also she’s supported along this entire ride, but also my friends, my girl Erica aka E, my supporters my brother Zola #Team Attomshop.
